Of course it's the greatest! The whole anime is about fighting with epic fight scenes, and it consists of the greatest fight in anime history ( Goku vs Frieza ). DBZ forever!

Yes dragon ball has great fight scenes Inmean like cell gohan got mad and beat the crap out of cell or goku vs frezia I mean frezia did not stand a chance and don't forget about vegtio vs super buu.buu sucks and vegtio is the best.How about goku vs vegeta that was a really good fight especially when vegeta turns great ape and they still won.All the other anime sucks compared to this

Of all the shows I've watched (not just anime, shows), Naruto has the best looking, most emotional, most well thought out, most clever and strategic, most epic battles there are. DBZ has good fighting, but it doesn't compare to the mastery this anime has with the craft.

Compared to Part 1, the fights are generally more epic and emotional because there are a lot of payoffs that aren't in part 1 and it's on a bigger scale, but I think it lost some elements of strategy and the cleverness that made Part 1 fights so special and unique. Still has that though, in fights like Shikamaru vs Hidan or The Shinobi Alliance vs Juubito.

Actually the fighting scenes in this anime is not that good. In most fights, characters don't give importance to dodging attacks(except erza) and just see if they can withstand more hits and fight.

They are very creative and awesome. My personal favourite is Jellal vs Oración Seis. Jellal was so badass with his unique Heavenly Body Magic!
