Anime that You Dropped

I just finished watching Kuro to kin kirakanai Kagi and I was so close to dropping this anime. Then I thought about which anime I did drop and why? So I'll put some of mine down with my reasons. The rest is up to you.

The Top Ten

1 Chaos Dragon

Surprisingly, I was very confused with this anime. I had to write down characters names and descriptions so I could remember them. The setting wasn't enjoyable, the plot was a gentle slope that stopped going up, the characters are cookie cutter characters and the main character's power is so stupid. He can kill someone else by killing his friends. Yet his friends are okay with that? - RoseRedFlower

2 Wolf Girl and Black Prince

A sexist anime that was somehow uninteresting and bland. I had no desire to finish the rest because there's better romance anime to watch. - RoseRedFlower

3 Pupa

If there's one thing an anime should never be, it's boring. That's what Pupa was. And this came out three years ago. The magna is indeed better but it kept getting pushed back in production and it really shows. - RoseRedFlower

4 Eiken Eiken is a fanservice-themed manga and anime series created by Seiji Matsuyama. The story depicts the life of schoolboy Densuke Mifune after he is forced into the mysterious Eiken Club.

The gigantic boobs were too much for me. I had to stop watching. - RoseRedFlower

Who the hell would want to watch this in the first place?

Couldn't make it past 10 minutes.

I... I just couldn't do it - emeraldfennekin

5 Mars of Destruction

Other than the fact that every character is the same from looks to personality, this anime was unbearable to sit through. I know fanfictions and comics online made from Deviantart that are written better than Mars of Destruction. - RoseRedFlower

6 Hanoka

This anime was just a mess. Seriously, I dare you right now to look up images of it. Yes, that's what the animation is like. I honestly believe this is the worst drawn anime I've ever seen. I hate Eiken's animation but I only had one giant problem with it. This is just horrible in every frame. - RoseRedFlower

You haven't seen bad anime until you've seen Hanoka.

7 One Piece (4kids)

Now, I love One Piece but I could never finish the One Piece dub by 4kids. They edit almost everything in that anime. From cigarettes to lollipops, weapons, skin color, etc. Plus the theme's the worst anime theme song I've ever heard. - RoseRedFlower

The 4kids version of One Piece is legendary of how bad it is. Thank goodness it was redubbed again. - HoneyClover

8 Dark Cat

If anyone says old 90's anime is the best, show them this. There's great 90's anime but this isn't it. There's too many weird tentacle scenes that made it more hentai than an action anime. This dialogue felt like it was written by a ten year old. It was just a stupid movie. - RoseRedFlower

9 Kiss Him, Not Me!
10 Air

That face

The Contenders

11 Endride

This came out last year and I was just done by episode seven. It was very generic and didn't offer me anything to sit through/ - RoseRedFlower

13 Hayate the Combat Butler Hayate The Combat Butler is a Taiwanese television drama based on the Japanese shōnen manga of the same name by Kenjiro Hata.

It premiered across Japan on the terrestrial TV Tokyo and other TX Network stations on October 3, 2002. The first series more.

I used to like watching Naruto, because it didn't start as a typical boy's action anime. It contained stories of being ignored by people, and trying your best despite your parentage and natural skills. But...when it got to Shippuden, it began to lose that special themes. Naruto and Sasuke were once hardworking ninjas who will do anything in order to get stronger. But those years of hardworking crashed down worthless, when it was discovered that Naruto and Sasuke were reincarnations of Indra and Asura. UGH! So they were "supposed" to be god-like. That completely dropped the lesson Naruto was teaching me all along. Starting from "Try your best and don't give up, and you will be great" to "Hey what do ya know? I've got sage mode, I've got tailed beasts, I've got eye powers, I'm actually a reincarnation of a god-like ninja! "
The thing that there are perfect geniuses in Naruto makes it unrelatable.

26 Ergo Proxy Ergo Proxy is a science fiction suspense anime television series, produced by Manglobe, directed by Shukō Murase and written by Dai Satō.

I dropped it three times, and I only watched 9 out of 23 episodes.
Seriously. This anime was not good at all!
What I disliked about this anime:
It was boring and short-paced, there were too many plot details, to the point that your brain gets cooked.
There's too many information, and the plot is just.. hard to understand at times.
The animation is weird, and it gave me an eerie vibe, and the characters look strange and creepy.
Seriously, don't ever get me started on those nightmarish AutoReivs.
Oh, and Re-L's appearance.. is interesting...
...In a negative way.
I had no idea what was going on while watching this anime.

31 Ore Monogatari!! My Love Story!!, is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written by Kazune Kawahara and illustrated by Aruko. The manga was serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine and is being published in English by Viz Media.
