Top Ten Animes 4kids Should Never Dub

Feel free to add any anime you like and think that 4Kids should never ruin ^ ^

The Top Ten

1 Death Note Death Note is a Japanese television drama series based on the manga series of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The show is centered around Light Yagami - a promising highschooler and aspiring detective with a strong sense of "justice".

How would Death Note, a show that involves a lot of, well, death, even get a dub for kids? Plus didn't the English dub air on Adult Swim for a brief time in the U.S.? So how would it even get a dub on a kid's television program when literally 99% of the show involves a fair amount of mature themes and characters in addition to some rather gruesome deaths? What would they call the Death Note? Sleep Note? Travel Note? Pocket Note? - Anonymousxcxc

Imagine how ridiculous It would sound in 4Kids The whole death note thing would be turned into some book that can make people 'fall asleep' - MLPFan

Most of these anime are either too violent or too mature to get a 4Kids dub. - Mcgillacuddy

True, but I saw many videos of some of the said animes being dubbed by 4Kids, that's why I made this list - MLPFan

This one is too dark for them to dub - DarkBoi-X

2 Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is a Japanese anime television series directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, with screenplay written by Masaki Tsuzuki, and produced by Seven Arcs.

7 Soul Eater Soul Eater is an anime series directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones, Aniplex, Dentsu, Media Factory, and TV Tokyo, which adapts the Soul Eater manga written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo.

Death the kid's obsession with symmetry would be changed to shape loving...

I'm terrified If they'd ever dub this - MLPFan

Yeah, Soul Eater should never be dubbed amd have its contents modified in a cheesy way. - AinezoChan

8 Attack on Titan Attack on Titan, also known as Shingeki no Kyojin in Japanese, created by Hajime Isayama, is one of the most popular Japanese anime series to be released. It was first watched in Japan during 2013 and was dubbed in English to be watched in America in 2014. It is best known for its emotional moments, more.

Changes if they ever did it:

- The gore and the blood will be censored definitely in each scenes.
- The huge Titans will be heavily censored to their top and bottom bodies.
- Eren's mother being eaten by a Titan will be replaced by "kidnapping".
- All the swords in their inventories to their suits will be substituted by babyish swords.
- The epic soundtrack of this series will be replaced by cheesy, orchestral and awful music as you can hear in Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V.
- The apocalyptic, survival to the death, conflict, war of the Titans and destruction of the village tone will be reduced to save the world and friendly theme.
- Emotional moments will be boring.

And the list goes on. :/ - yamionthetrap

9 Boku No Pico Boku no Pico is an anime series of three OVA episodes created by Katsuhiko Takayama. It was released to DVD on September 17, 2006.

3 episodes, get rid of all the inappropriate bits which is the whole episode. So a completely different Anime.

It would be hilarious.

1. Pico: Polly
2. Chico: Clara
3. CoCo: Cathy

Okay guys let's be realistic here: Boku no Pico from what I understand is basically hentai and while 4kids may be an infamous dubbing company (from what I can understand) they wouldn't be dumb enough to dub a hentai anime for children as it could get them into serious trouble with the law as well as having to pay lots of money to suers. - Anonymousxcxc

It also has 3 movies, more.

Magical Molly would be a funny prank, but they'd just screw It and make It into a sailor moon clone, and all the edgy and dark elements would be gone - MLPFan

No. Please don't. - TwilightKitsune

Its was shown on abc3 which is now abcme but it was shown around 10:00 at night on fridays

Well, the real dub by Aniplex is also aired on a kids channel(forgot what channel) and they didn't censored the violent scenes, blood or death scenes. Except maybe the train scene since It has some slight sexism undertones in it. Oh well, at least It was aired prime time, but why rated PG? I thought at least PG-13 or follow the T.V.-14 rating It has on other places would suit better - MLPFan
