I'm so glad I started watching anime with Death note

Who needs over 300 episodes? 38 episodes is all I need from this masterpiece. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Would've been my favorite if (SPOILER) they didn't replace L with Near at the second half of the anime. Very well thought out, bringing a genius to a complete psychopath, almost like Gollum and the ring. L is my all time favorite character, he isn't a hero, but a man fighting for one thing only. There's no one I can respect more.. By that, this anime gets my vote!

I wonder haw many people, wrote Donald Trump's name it, why the gat a hole of the "Death Note".

Nothing compares to this anime, nothing as well thought out but yet set up with a very basic plot that gradually becomes more interesting as the show goes on. Well done to both of them.
