I will truly never understand why people thought the first one was a great movie. But that's their opinion in the end. My question is what kind of plot will Illumination pull out their ass for a sequel!?

Pokemon is not a franchise it's a fad. Which came back with Pokemon Go and this movie. Don't be a stupid cry baby again like you where with that teenage Goku who loved his Chi Chi and a Nicktoon The Last Airbender.
The only reason I'd see this is because I want to see Ryan Reynolds play Pikachu. Totally would pay money for that.
I'm afraid that they might ruin the Pokemon franchise with this movie...

The overrated awful mess of an animated film shouldn't be remade in any form. I fear it is going to beat every movie out there in the box office.
I don’t know why Disney would continue to do this to some of their legendary animated movies. I get they are trying to give them a live action remake but so far it’s not working. The only good one was Jungle Book (2016) If Disney is so obsessed with live action why not redo some of their second tier movies like Hercules for example.
