Top 10 Most Annoying Featured Artists in Songs

These artists have the ability to ruin an otherwise decent song with either their voices or their lyrics, or in many cases both, but seem to be featured on every single modern artist's album for some strange reason.

The Top Ten

1 Chris Brown Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows from a young age. He is most well known for his physical assault towards the singer Rihanna in more.

Any time I see this clown's name appear on someone's album it makes me less interested to listen to the album. I just don't see why every rapper thinks this guy's horrible autotuned whiny voice is so appealing to listen to, and I can't understand why every song with him on the hook becomes a hit. - DaWyteNight

I don't get how this douchebag still has a career after all the legal troubles and fights he's been in since the Rihanna incident - LoveMusicLoveLife

One of the most successful artists in songs on the hot 100 as a lead or featured artist with 95 of course if we specifically restrict it to songs that are utter trash he could well be number 1 or 2 I would guess where would you guess.

He sounds exactly the same on every song he's on - ShrekTheGoat

2 Ty Dolla $ign Tyrone William Griffin, Jr., born April 13, 1985, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He first gained major recognition in 2010 for his feature on YG's "Toot It and Boot It", which he had written and produced for Def Jam Recordings. In the summer of 2013, he signed a record more.

This guy is terrible and can't sing for crap. He's even worse than Chris Brown at singing and hardly has that big of a following, but still is used when Chris Brown or Jeremih aren't available I guess.

One of the most forgettable featured artists ever

HOT GIRL SUMMER he was a good ft in the song in my opinion

Who's this?

A guy who isn't good enough at singing or rapping to be called either. He was featured in the song Work from Home by Fifth Harmony where he was sadly the most interesting part of the song.

3 Cardi B Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter, television personality and former stripper.

Turned Girls Like You from being a bland nothing song to being even worse. I'm glad that I don't listen to the radio and don't really have to listen to any of the songs these artists are featured on.

Along with French Montana and Gunna, Cardi B is one of the worst rappers when it comes to features. Her worst feature ever was on Lil Nas X's Rodeo where she ruined the song completely. The only decent feature she has ever done was on No Limit.

To be honest, her features can be really good if she puts in enough effort like No Limit, Motorsport and Finesse. But, she does have a lot of bland features as well.

I'm reluctant to listen to a song that includes her but I'm with you on Finesse actually.

Why does she have to be in every song nowadays?

Because the music industry is trying to make her into a pop star just like they did with Nicki Minaj, because they know she won't last as a pure "rapper."

4 Jeremih Jeremih Felton, better known by his mononym Jeremih, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. In 2009, he signed a record deal with Def Jam Recordings.

He's kinda outdated but his songs are good - BananaBrain

This guy is an outdated banana split. - AlphaQ

5 French Montana Karim Kharbouch, better known by his stage name French Montana, is an American rapper. Born in Morocco, he immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13 years old.

This man is the king of ruining people's songs with his boring and uninspired verses. He ruined both the Work and No Limit remixes - ShrekTheGoat

6 Future

This guy has an even worse voice than Travis Scott but thankfully isn't used as much.

Just remember his awful feature on King's Dead

7 Kodak Black Bill K. Kapri is an American rapper better known by his stage name Kodak Black. He is noted for his singles "Roll in Peace", "Tunnel Vision", and "No Flockin", as well as his numerous legal issues.

This man did the worst featured verse of all time on A Boogie wit da hoodie's Drowning and ruined the great song with his terrible bars about farting - ShrekTheGoat

"Ion know how to potty"

Kodak is T R A S H. - AlphaQ

8 Iggy Azalea Amethyst Amelia Kelly, born June 7, 1990 known professionally as Iggy Azalea, is an Australian rapper, singer, songwriter, and model.

Who'd honestly want to get this untalented nasal woman as a feature? - AlphaQ

Who would get her as a feature? - RobertWisdom

9 Travis Scott Jacques Webster, better known by his stage name Travis Scott, is an American hip hop recording artist, record producer and musician from Houston, Texas.

I like the boi Travis Scott but he's way better as a main artist than a feature, his features in 2019 have been his weakest ones yet. *cough cough* Chopstix *cough cough*

While Travis makes great music when he is the main artist, his features in 2019 have not been great. Both his features on Chopstix and Celebrate were pretty bad.

"Yeah! " "Oh my God! " "It's liit! " "Scraight up! " Jesus, just shut up already! I can't stand Travis, if you couldn't tell.

Don't know who this is.

1 of the top artists in Kanye West's label. I honestly think his music is good but you might not like him if you don't like autotune.

To be fair, his features are decent and are better than his discography. - AlphaQ

I liked some of his part in iSpy but that's probably biased, overall he's not horrible though - xEliHbkx

He ruined Ice Tray, Night Call and iSpy - ShrekTheGoat

The Contenders

11 Quavo Quavious Keyate Marshall, known professionally as Quavo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as a member of the rap trio Migos.

Quavo's features aren't the worst thing in the world. Sure he's generic but his features are no way as bad as someone like Cardi B or French Montana. - ShrekTheGoat

Quavo's features are decent, they just need less autotune and they'd be good. - AlphaQ

Another autotune abusing moron. - DaWyteNight

Who is this? - RobertWisdom

12 Gunna

Gunna is like Lil Baby from Walmart. While Lil Baby is not a great rapper, Gunna takes it to a whole new level with his boring vocals and lazy lyrics. Every song he features on he sounds exactly the same - ShrekTheGoat

Gunna is a Walmart and watered down Young Thug with no personality, who knows why he's on so many songs when he's so boring. - AlphaQ

Who the heck is this? - RobertWisdom

Every album in 2019 is legally required to have a Gunna feature so it’s only fair he’s on here twice.

13 Camila Cabello Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, or professionally Camila Cabello (born March 3, 1997) is an American-Cuban musician. Camila was best known for being part of the girl group Fifth Harmony. Fifth Harmony are known for songs like Worth It, Work From Home, All In My Head (Flex), Bo$, and Sledgehammer. Camila more.

14 Drake Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor, born on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Canada. He started his career on Canadian reality show "Degrassi: The Next Generation".

He's pretty generic, but overall he has saved more songs than ruining them like No Stylist - ShrekTheGoat

Drake is the go-to artist when you are worried that your name alone won't make your song a hit. - DaWyteNight

His features in 2018 were honestly better than his own songs. - AlphaQ

15 Young Thug Jeffrey Lamar Williams, better known by his stage name Young Thug, is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He became known for his commercial debut single 'Stoner', as well as other songs such as 'Check', 'Digits', and 'Best Friend' more.

To be dead honest, her features are actually good most go the time, like Monster. Way better than her solo songs. - AlphaQ

To be fair she sometimes has good verses in featured songs - ElSherlock

Oh yeah, she sucks. Can't believe I forgot her. - DaWyteNight

She ultimately signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning more.

T.I.'s Live Your Life would've been a perfect song if it wasn't for her annoying autotuned vocals. And don't even get me started on that overplayed Love the Way You Lie, that was the most overplayed song of summer 2010. - DaWyteNight

To be honest I thought Love The Way You Lie Was great and I don't really get your hate of Rihanna in general to be honest but each to their own. - Powell

19 Justin Bieber Justin Drew Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He currently resides in Ontario, Canada and is Christian. He is the son of author Pattie Mallette. more.

He isn't featured that much, but at least if he's featured we get somebody other than Chris Brown for once.

Justin Bieber hasn't featured recently much, but his verse on the bad guy remix was unbearable

G-Eazy is not awful honestly, he just lacks so much character and has no personality or is just uninteresting. - AlphaQ

G Eazy's verses are not really bad, but they are very forgettable and he lacks personality - ShrekTheGoat

Who the heck is this? - RobertWisdom

21 Normani

She is honestly very underwhelming, the only reason they are putting her in songs is so she can get a big hit. That's why she's credited as one of the main artists rather than "featuring"

I kinda like Normani but I think she can do even better.

What is this?

The other girl from Fifth Harmony who went solo and people are trying to make into a big star.

He ruined "Don't Bring Me Down" by 8Ball. His lyrics were alright, but his voice was so annoying and he ruined the chill vibe of the song. He was better when he was in Playaz Circle, but even then he had some bad lines. - DaWyteNight

23 A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

So I guess this is the guy you get when no other singers are available to sing a hook. - DaWyteNight

And his name is really stupid. - RobertWisdom

Who the heck is this guy? - RobertWisdom
