Most Annoying PBS Kids Shows

Arthur, Cyberchase, Fetch, Wild Kratts, etc. Are all awesome. But there are some really annoying shows out there on PBS Kids, whether they are running or cancelled.

The Top Ten

1 Barney & Friends Barney & Friends Barney & Friends is an American children's television series aimed at children from ages 1 to 8, created by Sheryl Leach and produced by HIT Entertainment. I hate you, you hate me, let's get together and stab barney watch him bleed all over the floor, go to hell purple dinosaur.

I hate this show and I don't like Barney's laugh because it sounds like this... "Hoo hoo hoo hoo! I'm Barney! " - andrewteel

Barney needs to go to hell and get roasted by satin himself!

I agree! I can't believe I used to like him when I was a kid!

2 Caillou Caillou Caillou is a Canadian educational children's television series that was first shown on Télétoon and Teletoon, with its first episode airing on the former channel on September 15, 1997; the show later moved to Treehouse TV, with its final episode being shown on that channel on October 3, 2010. The more.

Hi I'm Caillou and I throw tantrums like a baby "Wah! " - andrewteel

3/4 year olds believe that the world revolves around them. They do have tantrums. Its just an age that's hard to remember.

I'm just a sucker who's 4, each day I shrink some more, I hate exploring, I'm Caillou! Not many things to do, no day is something new, I won't share them with you, I'm Caillou! My World Won't Turn, It Never Changes! With mommy and daddy, I'm not finding my way! Growing up is way too hard, even when I had enough but there is nothing fun I'm caillou! Caillou! Caillou! I'm Caillou! I Suck! - NESSquid

He is a stupid 4 year old bald boy who whines and throws tantrums all the time His parents let him get away with everything and never punish him.

3 Sid The Science Kid Sid The Science Kid Sid the Science Kid is an American half-hour CGI animated series that aired on PBS Kids from September 1, 2008 to March 25, 2013, with a total of 68 half-hour episodes produced over two seasons. The computer generated show is produced by The Jim Henson Company and then-PBS member KCET in Los Angeles, more.

Here's a funny song I made that would match my hatred of this show when sid sings this song while going to school:

Sid: I hate my mom, My mom is stupid, and I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL! - PBSDoink2002

Sid: I hate my mom, my mom is dumb, and I don't want to go to this school EVER!

I hate school I hate science and the most I hate the one who created this and I agree that martha should finnaly shut up - simpsondude

Despite the songs being the best part about this show, the animation is terrible and the characters weren't interesting.

4 Super Why! Super Why! Super Why! or The Reading Adventures of Super Why! is an American-Canadian children's CGI animated show developed by Angela Santomero and Samantha Freeman Alpert. The series is produced by New York City-based Out of the Blue Enterprises and Toronto-based DHX Media through its Decode Entertainment division. more.

I have a very good reason for not liking that show. After they run into a problem, dramatic music plays and it sounds so uncomfortable.

More like pooper why!

I can't even imagine that this show was made by the people who made Blue's Clues! Blue's Clues was a great show, and Super Why was horrible!

The award-winning series is based on Random more.

It will look better than the movie Illumination is gonna make in a few years.

The cat in the hat knows nothing

I can't believe that I actually enjoyed this when I was little, first of all, the song is as annoying as heck, the kids act really dumb and need a cat who puts them in danger to teach them anything.

The chactacters are totally different from the books and nobody learned anything from the creatures with random names

6 Bob The Builder Bob The Builder Bob the Builder is a British children's animated television show created by Keith Chapman. In the original series, Bob appears in a stop motion animated programme as a building contractor, specialising in masonry, along with his colleague Wendy, various neighbours and friends, and their gang of anthropomorphised more.

I prefer Dig & Dug with Daisy. 1994.
But they cancelled it!
People only know the words Dig & Dug as some Nintendo game.

"Mario+Bob=Felix" *runs away*

If he was evil, he will be called bob the destructor - Andres

Remember Bob the Builder: Project Build It? Here's what the theme song of that show should have been but wasn't:
Bob the Builder,
Project Build It.
Bob the Builder,
No we can't!

It is not on T.V.. Thank the Lord! - sound4mercury

That dog is annoying! When she started talking she was annoying. I think Helen was right about Wishing that Martha wouldn't have spoke in the first place! If only Helen stopped feeding alphabet soup to Martha to make her stop talking!

Martha, BE QUIET!

8 Dinosaur Train Dinosaur Train Dinosaur Train is an American/Canadian/Singaporean children's animated series created by Craig Bartlett, who also created Hey Arnold!. The series features a curious young Tyrannosaurus rex named Buddy who, together with his adopted Pteranodon family, takes the Dinosaur Train to explore his time period, more.

Mostly it's just the songs that get annoying, other than that it's not bad. I actually learned from this show.

If you want a good show with dinosaurs, then go watch Dinosaur King. It teaches a lot of things about a lot of things., this teaches kids nothing.

Also, I hope Max, Rex and Zoe from Dinosaur King banish this show from America, and then decide to use Chomp, Ace and Paris to wreck the train.

My god my little sister loves watching this show and I am so annoyed. They're trying to rip off Dinosaur Office instead change office into train and make it more educational. What a worse show I ever seen in my life. - 2k16sux

I cringe at some of the evolutionary junk thrown in like fact. Not to mention the one dino is a predator and doesn't know the rest of his family would really technically be his food. Weird.

9 Teletubbies Teletubbies Teletubbies is a British pre-school children's television series created by Ragdoll Productions' Anne Wood CBE and Andrew Davenport, who wrote each of the show's 365 episodes .

Its cute NOT creepy, scary, demonic
Anyway the baby ones the tiddlytubbies are cuter.

11 Ready Jet Go! Ready Jet Go! Ready Jet Go! is a CGI animated television series created by Craig Bartlett which premiered in the United States as part of the PBS Kids block on February 15, 2016 . The series is produced by Wind Dancer Films and Snee Oosh, Inc. in cooperation with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The show is aimed more.

stupid - myusernameisthis

HOW IS THIS ON THE LIST?!?!? I love this show! It had plot, good acting, and character development. The acting is wonderful (unlike other acting on PBS Kids). Mitchell showed real character development. They make him this deep and conflicted anti-social character that secretly wants to be friends with Jet and his group. I had myself laughing with the characters, almost dying when they revealed backstories! There is drama but not its not a drama show, and it has better drama than the babyish shows on PBS Kids which have fake drama (actually they all have babyish drama, but RJG, WK, and OS have 2% more mature drama). Literally whenever something big happened it had me desperate for more. The storyline about Jet keeping his alien identity a secret is suspenseful! It's also more educational than other shows on PBS Kids such as Super Why, they keep you well-informed about science and astronomy throughout the episodes, and they still manage to have amazing plots and heartwarming morals ...more

I actually watched this show - I thought it would be annoying and I didn't expect it to be watchable. This show has proved me wrong on that. It's not only educational but it's fun! Ready, Jet, Go is amazing for children and parents who love astronomy and our solar system.

Jet's pet is called Sunspot - he's my favorite.

I checked all kinds of astronomy websites - and every thing on Ready, Jet, Go is factual. And there's astronomer Amy Mainzer who is on the live action parts after the episode. Amy tours NASA labs, Hubble telescope, and the like.

I highly recommend this show.

Here I ripped off dinosaur train

12 Arthur Arthur Arthur is a Canadian/American animated educational television series for children, created by Cookie Jar Group and WGBH for PBS.

Who put THIS here? AND WHY? HE'S MY CHILDHOOD! - TimmyTurner

Whoever put Arthur on here must not had even seen the show.

Stupid anthropomorphic animals who are in 3rd grade but pretend to be in high school. The earlier episodes were EXTREMELY graphic but the newer ones are just sad. 22 Years of airing is enough. CANCEL ARTHUR THE AARDVARK

13 Pinkalicious & Peterrific

This show got issues it is a really bad show this is not educational at all!

The one I just saw part of the little boy is riding his scooter inside, annoying everyone with honking, even causing his parents to ruin the projects they are working on when he startles them. No one is saying "that's an outside toy, go play outside". Then he starts singing a song and the message to the viewer seems to be that his annoying honking is a lovely song to him and everyone else should pay attention to his wonderful song. The larger message is "kids, whatever you do, no matter how rude or annoying, is great and everyone else should just see how amazing it is and join you". Sarcastic conclusion: I can't wait for kids who learn these lessons to join the adult world. I bet they'll be emotionally healthy and just a pleasure to be around. What a healthy society we're all creating!

This show is so irritating. Every other word is changed so it has the word "pink" in it. Like "pinkatastic" or "pink a perfect."

Pink just remember that I come, I need to get a video to end curious George. Dinosaur train ripped out the new, and just the first one. Even reduced.

My best friend from high school was terrified of these things. For Halloween 2010, he bought a doll of the orange one and painted a scary grin on it. - thomwim

You'll understand why I voted for it. Just watch a video and look it up and see... Can't get my head around it... It's just weird stuff running around... What is the plot... I think I know, oh never mind...

I have one word for this show, LSD!

15 Peg + Cat Peg + Cat Peg + Cat is an American/Canadian animated children's television series based on the children's book "The Chicken Problem", which was published in 2012. The series is created by Billy Aronson and Jennifer Oxley and produced by The Fred Rogers Company and 9 Story Entertainment. It debuted on most PBS more.

The two comments below this one are ones made, and also don't forget to give peg a slap on the wrist if she tries using the magic cylinder on you, this comment is supposed to be comedic and oh do I hate peg, but cat helps peg a lot so I hate him too I hate ramone because he gave them the magic cylinder and also I just hate the voice acting.

I hate Richard, he is annoying, whiny, crybaby, and always get upset when things don't his way or don't get what he wants.

Why does Ramone always appears in every
Adventure Peg and Cat have. Also I hate
Richard when he cries. It's annoying. That crybaby
Needs to shut up! I hate the Christmas special.
When they start singing, they don't make sense.

Why did they give the dragon a villainous role?

Better than Dora! - andrewteel

Still better than Dora the Explorer - PerfectImpulseX

The only character I hate is Maya, when there is a problem, she gets an idea by saying "Eso es! " while her hair bobbles light up and tries to help out, but only making things worse.

I don't get it where there is people that hate this show!

22 Nature Cat Nature Cat Nature Cat is an educational American-Canadian children's animated comedy adventure television series.

You know, one ep, they spent the whole time chasing a PLASTIC BAG.
I like how this is about nature, but why does the bunny remind me of spongebob? RIPOFF. WILD KRATTS IS THE OLNY GOOD SHOW PBS KIDS!

Can't believe they cancelled Wordgirl for this. Wordgirl did get bad when season 3 ended but it wasn't horrible. This is just crap. They have an episode where these birds thought a scary kite was a real mouse What. And just because of this, now I can't watch Arthur after school and I usually miss the first episode of Odd Squad. Cancel this now. This is as retarded as WordWorld and return to the normal schedule or bring back The Magic School Bus or else I'm switching to Gaming.

Cannot find anything entertaining or educational about this show. Actually send your kid outside rather letting them watch this. Considering smashing television any time this comes on.

This show is stupid crap. Ruined the schedule on pbs kids.

25 Dragon Tales Dragon Tales Dragon Tales is a Canadian-American animated pre-school fantasy adventure children's television series created by Jim Coane and Ron Rodecker and developed by Coane, Wesley Eure, Jeffrey Scott, Cliff Ruby and Elana Lesser.

This should at least be in 3rd place. This show may trigger nostalgia in the snowflake millennials, but I do not care, I have seen this show for what it really is, because I didn't remember it much, therefore there were no nostalgia goggles to blind my vision when I looked at a clip of it last year, and I thought it was a a stinky pile of wet, steaming, garbage. (in other words, this show sucks more than a vacuum cleaner with its motor replaced with a jet engine.) - 404_name_missing

Huh. I thought that the snowflakes would be attacking me at this point, but maybe this list hasn't been raided by the fluoride-drunk millenials. - 404_name_missing

I hate this show it looks ugly and makes me want to turn off my T.V. and destroy it. Most importantly Cassie makes me want to puke whenever she showed her feet to us. This show is really inappropriate to air this to kids. - 2k16sux

Jim Henson's Muppets were good, until Sesame Workshop came and altered it...

Not all Sesame Street is childish and stupid. Sure, there are parts of it that I loathe. But I can handle most of it.
