Top Ten Most Annoying People in the Music Industry

This isn’t including people like Dahvie Vanity because they’re more just straight up awful people than annoying. This is a list for those in the music industry who are truly obnoxious.
Now, here’s some people I didn’t include and why:
• Kanye West: He’s a dead horse
• Justin Bieber: See Kanye West
• K.K. Downing: He’s not annoying enough to warrant being on this list
• Dave Mustaine: I really don’t see what’s so annoying about him
• XXXTentacion: Obvious reasons, I don’t think it’s worth ranting about a dead guy
• Miley Cyrus: See Kanye West
• Rob Dukes: He’s a really great singer, which excuses his annoyingness
• The members of Queensrÿche: They may have fired Geoff Tate, and they’re not as good as they used to be, but they’re still pretty good
• King Diamond: Him not making an album for 11 years doesn’t make him an annoying person
• Mike Portnoy: He’s not annoying at all and is simply an amazing drummer and a great guy
Gene Simmons: See Kanye West

Now...let’s get down to things.
The Top Ten
1 Halsey Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, known by her stage name Halsey, is an American singer and songwriter. She was born on September 29, 1994 in New Jersey. She started her career by releasing songs on SoundCloud, and now she is a well-known pop singer with hits like Bad at Love, and Now or Never. She had originated ...read more.

I honestly really cannot stand Halsey. Actually, I kinda liked her badlands and hopeless fountain kingdom albums, and her songs are pretty good, but seriously, she is so annoying as heck. I mean literally, she is a SJW who gets offended easily by everything, including hotel shampoo she claims racist/sexist. "Face palms". Seriously Halsey? Jesus Christ, get a life you obnoxious, pretentious, annoying SJW.

How did she get to #1? The last time I checked Halsey was #4 or something and Maynard James Keenan was #1. Anyway, I would like to see proof of the thing with her insulting journalists' you-know-whats when criticized, because I devoted almost a whole weekend to researching this stuff on the web, and couldn't find anything about that.

Ok I get that whole shampoo thing but I think people need need to stop jumping on her for the dumbest things. We all make mistakes and I know I’ve done tons of crappy things. How would you like if you made one mistake and everybody keeps reminding you of it for the rest of your life. I think everybody has to give celebrities some slack. It’s hard being in the public eye all the time making a couple of mistakes should mark you as a bad person. I get it a lot more if someone is doing things like this all the time. I don’t think Halsey is a bad person I just think she made a bad choice

Yep she's a little annoying, even her songs are great in my opinion, she gets offended over a hotel shampoo because it's bad for POC's hair but hotel shampoos are crap and they are bad for everyone's hair and you can bring your own shampoo - GalaxyCookies

2 Ronnie Radke Ronald Joseph Radke is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, musician, and record producer born in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the current singer of the band Falling In Reverse and is the former singer of Escape The Fate.

Ronnie Radke...Oh, my god. How could I forget Ronnie Radke, the king of whiny vocals?
Anyway, this guy is an absolute scumbag. Who throws a microphone stand at the audience? You either have to be a complete moron or an arrogant douche to do something like that, in Radke’s case it’s both. Not to mention, this dude is just an absolute whiny bitch, in any interview or any social media. This dude just never shuts his mouth and oh my god, the fans...that’s a topic for another day, but it’s worth mentioning that for such a piece of trash, he has quite the large and quite the horrendous fanbase. Makes you wonder how little of a life they must have to waste their time with this guy and his horrible music.

Ugly emo who sucks at singing. And did he actually throw a microphone stand at the audience? -DarkBoi-X

3 Taylor Swift Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift is best known for writing personal songs and has won 13 Grammy Awards... read more

She should be number one, 90 percent of her music is about boys treating her terribly which is absolutely annoying. And don't get me started on her fanbase. They will threaten you to like her and all that jazz

Two songs sound so familiar and I realized they sounded like other songs. Shake it Off sounded like My First Kiss (Kesha) and everyone knows Look What You Made Me Do Is I'm Too Sexy. And her songs haven't been written very well. The lyrics aren't very detailed as they used to be, her songs sounds like generic pop to me and she's trying way too hard in some cases. I don't care about her date life or anything but her music has been slowly going downhill.

4 Lars Ulrich Lars Ulrich is a Danish drummer and one of the founding members of the American thrash metal band Metallica.

I'm not a fanboy or anything, but he's been getting it together this year. Check out the live performances.

I definitely have respect for what he used to do in the studio. And for what he used to do live.
Emphasis on “used to”.
You know why?
This man, is nowhere near the drummer he used to be. As a person, I don’t find him obnoxious at all but as a musician, this man is as bad as a drummer can get. If you watch him live, he just...butchers, any Metallica song. Any given song. He can’t even do songs he plays every night. Like Master Of Puppets. And that song is one of his least complicated drum wise. He’s absolutely pathetic at the double bass in One.
And, The Call Of Ktulu...that’s the worst. He’s literally not even playing the same song. He misses every. Single. Note.
No joke. He’s that bad at it. These performances are prime examples of his decline as a drummer.

5 John Mayer John Clayton Mayer is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Mayer attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, but disenrolled and moved to Atlanta in 1997 with Clay Cook. Together, they formed a short-lived two-man band called Lo-Fi Masters.
6 Marilyn Manson Brian Hugh Warner, better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, is an American musician, songwriter, actor, painter, multimedia artist, author, and former music journalist.

He seems to be a nice person though. Get him off this list.

Such a bad singer

7 Maynard James Keenan Maynard James Keenan, often referred to by his initials MJK, is an American musician, record producer, winemaker, and actor, best known as the vocalist for Grammy Award-winning progressive metal band Tool. He also is the singer of A Perfect Circle and Puscifer bands that vary in style.

Holy god. I thought Glen Benton was a for sure number one until I remembered this pile of human garbage.
I may hate Deicide. I may loathe Glen Benton. And all for good reason. But, Maynard...Maynard is much, MUCH more deserving of my hatred than Benton is.
Okay...let’s get down to this.
First of all, his policies on digital releases of Tool albums. Why? Why not release it? Oh, wait, because he’s a greedy, money hungry son of a bitch. Even Wendy Dio is less annoying, at least there, she’s released half of Dio’s catalogue digitally. Here, none of Tool’s 4 studio albums have been released digitally. For no reason other than MJK likes money. I thought you were already swimming in a giant pool of it! There’s literally no reason NOT to release Tool albums digitally.
Secondly, this dude is just such a petty, whiny bitch. One of the songs on Eat The Elephant is about how his winery got a bad review. Seriously? You’re gonna dedicate an entire song to a bad review? ...more

8 Gene Simmons Chaim Witz, known professionally by his stage name Gene Simmons, is an Israeli-American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, actor and television personality.
9 Allen Klein
10 Jacob Sartorius Rolf Jacob Sartorius (known by his middle name), born October 2, 2002, is an American singer and internet personality, who rose to fame via social media from posting lip-syncing videos on musical.ly and his Vines (on Vine). In 2016, he released his debut single "Sweatshirt", which reached the Hot 100 charts in the United States and Canada. He also has released songs like "Hit or Miss", "Bingo" and "No Music".

It looks like his face was smashed in with a frying pan and he's a very obnoxious singer.

You can have my sweatshirt!? Terrible music guys!

The Contenders
11 Kerry King Kerry Ray King is an American musician, best known as a guitarist for the American thrash metal band Slayer.

Oh my god, is this dude annoying.
There’s primarily one occasion with this guy that annoys me the absolute most and that is of course when he said that Iron Maiden and Metallica are living on past success. And, Slayer isn’t? Allow me to say, this is coming from the guy who’s not been able to make a genuinely great album since 1990. Repentless was average to me. Three great songs. The rest are average. Not great. So, explain to me how Maiden and Tallica are living off past success when both had extremely successful studio albums released in the past three years.
And, honestly, I think it’s about time Slayer ended. It’s not like Metallica or Maiden where they have the potential to keep going. Slayer’s done for. Have been doomed since Jeff Hanneman died. May he Rest In Peace.

12 Tom Morello Thomas Morello is an American musician, singer-songwriter and political activist. He is best known for his tenure with the band Rage Against the Machine and then with Audioslave.

Good guitarist, but overly political and divisive

13 Glen Benton
14 Nicki Minaj Onika Tanya Maraj, known professionally as Nicki Minaj (born December 8, 1982) is a Trinidadian/American rapper / pop music artist. Minaj is most known for her songs such as "Anaconda", "Super Bass", "Starships" and her feature on "Bang Bang". Despite her controversial songs, Brent Staples from "The New York Times" claimed her to be 'the most influential female rapper of all time', presumably distinctive for her fast flow and her use of alter egos with Cockney accent. She has endorsed Adidas, MAC Cosmetics and Pepsi. Minaj has received ten Grammy-nominations throughout her career, and has won multiple awards including the Billboard's Women in Music 2011 Rising Star award.

Worst music artist ever. She is so bad she makes Justin Bieber look like Chester Bennington from Linkin Park(R.I.P) and her rapping is so bad she makes Lil Pump look like Immortal Technique(A highly underrated rapper and he is my favourite rapper).-DarkBoi-X

A majority of her music is nothing special to me but she actually seems like a really nice person outside of her music.

The fact Marilyn Manson is above her is a joke. Listen to anaconda. You'll ears will bleed.

Stupid hoe? Just sorry but overrated big time and..what is this world coming too.

15 Beyonce Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, is an American singer and actress, who started out in the popular pop/r&b girl group Destiny's Child. 16 GG Allin Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (born Jesus Christ Allin; 1956-1993) was an American singer, songwriter and record producer, who performed and recorded with many groups during his career. He was best known for his graphic live performances which included self-mutilation, parading around the stage naked, fighting with members of his audience, and even eating his own feces. When questioned about his music and shows, Allin often replied that he was trying to make rock music "dangerous" again. ...read more.

He ate his own crap

17 Carrie Underwood Carrie Marie Underwood is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to fame as the winner of the fourth season of American Idol, in 2005. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was released in 2005.

At the same time migrant children are separated from their parents, Carrie wants to bring attention to her so-called disjointed face. Like she is more important than others, forgetting the fact that she came from a stupid T.V. show. If it weren't for American Idiots, she would be nothing but a low-IQ piece of junk from Oklahoma.

Vapid is the best way to describe this brainless singer. Screeches and yells like there's no tomorrow. Even her music is fatiguing to listen to.

18 David Geffen
19 Fred Durst William Frederick "Fred" Durst is an American musician and film director. Durst is best known as the vocalist of the nu metal band Limp Bizkit, formed in 1994, with whom he has released six studio albums.

I really hate that picture I have to find time to upload a Fred Durst pic on here

20 Chris Barnes Chris Barnes is an American musician mainly noted for his deep-throat vocals, explicitly violent lyrics. Barnes was a founding member of Cannibal Corpse before his dismissal and would later form Six Feet Under, which he fronts to this day.

I read some of the song titles from Cannibal Corpse and they're so ridiculous. Here's some titles:
A Skull Full of Maggots
Addicted to Vaginal Skin
I Will Kill You
Meat Hook Sodomy
Also, I thought Six Feet Under was an American T.V. show. But I read the song titles of Six Feet Under and the song titles are still ridiculous. I can't even name some of the titles because I know my comment will be removed from here.

21 Phil Spector Harvey Phillip Spector (born Harvey Philip Spector; December 26, 1939 – January 16, 2021) was an American record producer and songwriter, best known for his innovative recording practices and entrepreneurship in the 1960s, followed decades later by his two trials and conviction for murder in the 2000s. He is regarded as one of the most influential figures in pop music history and one of the most successful producers of the 1960s. ...read more.

Extremely talented, but if you make him angry, he might kill you.

Looks like an evil professor.
