Top Ten Most Annoying Video Game Sound Effects

Most iconic sound effects, meet your maker. Here are some of the most annoying sound effects to ever be in video games.
The Top Ten
1 "Fall Out" - Super Monkey Ball

Why is this at the top? Oh yes, because this game is ultra-hard and the game loves to rub it in on your fails. This sound effect plays only once each time but the announcer of this game is so annoying. A game that will make you hate video games for sure.

And the annoying whiny crying sound the monkey makes as he or she falls.

2 Low Health Beeping - Pokemon

Pokemon probably takes the cake here. There are others though.

3 Baby Mario Crying - Yoshi's Island (GBA)

You'll notice I did not put the original SNES version of Baby Mario crying. There's a reason for that. The Super Mario Advance ports made his crying EVEN WORSE.

4 Death Sound - Ninja Gaiden

Having to hear this every time I die is really grating, even for an NES game. Then again, Ninja Gaiden is a grating game in general.

5 "Get a Load of This!" - Sonic Adventure
6 "Hey, Listen!" - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
7 Link Grunts - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (GBA)

Again, not including the SNES version as it did not do this. What is with the GBA ports of these games?

What about the low health sound?

8 Head Crabs - Half-Life
9 "Koko Desu Ka" - King of Fighters
10 Miniblins - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Scariest enemy in the game because of that sound

The Contenders
11 Balloon Boy’s laugh - Five Nights at Freddy’s 2
12 "It's no use! Take this!" - Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)
13 Low Air Beep - Sonic Riders
14 Iblis Taker Death Sound - Sonic the Hedgehog 2006
15 Custom avatar groans from taking damage - Sonic Forces
16 Baby Princess Peach crying - Yoshi's Island DS
17 Baby Wario crying - Yoshi's Island DS
