Top 10 Most Anticipated Disney Movies of 2018

After the disappointment that was 2017, 2018 looks like it will be a much better year for Disney movies. Here are the ones to look forward to.
The Top Ten
1 Avengers: Infinity War

The trailer currently has over a hundred million views. Yeah. It's a big deal. I can't remember a movie that ever had this much hype. D23 trailer was great, but the publicly released one was better in my opinion. Because it actually felt like a trailer. This movie doesn't look like any ordinary superhero film. So many Marvel superheroes teaming up together is what everyone has been waiting for. The stakes are higher and the fights look really great. Thanos might be another one of Marvel's great villains. I certainly hope so since Marvel's weakest point is the villains. Regardless, this is not only the Disney movie I'm looking forward to the most this year, but it's currently the movie that I'm looking forward to the most out of all movies that are coming out. I have a feeling this will be the highest grossing film of 2018. Forget the Han Solo movie. This is what we should really be seeing.

I'm sure it's gonna be a great hit! All the popular Superheroes are included in this film like Doctor Strange, Black Panther etc.! And we can't forget the main attraction - Iron Spiderman! He's so cool!

They're relying way too much on having all the heroes in one place. That doesn't work when the heroes mix and match in each other's movies constantly. All in all, there's no hope here.

Don't bash Infinity War because of the multiverses colliding. I think this movie will be a masterpiece, so please don't ruin it for other Marvel fans.

2 The Incredibles 2

For 14 years, everyone has been waiting for a sequel to one of the most popular Pixar films ever. That time has finally come. Brad Bird stated that he didn't want to make a sequel unless he can come up with a story that can surpass the original. That's enough for me to be excited. From what I've heard, the movie will focus mostly on Elastigirl. And that's great because she is smokin' hot. And it makes sense since the first movie focused mostly on Bob. A lot of people are disappointed that the sequel doesn't take place years after the first one. I'm actually okay with it because the characters at their current age are what we grew to love and we only got to see them fight crime together once in the entire movie. Seeing them continue where they left off is a brilliant idea. The 99% of people in the world that like this movie definitely have something to look forward to this summer. Anyone who puts Cars 2 above the Incredibles doesn't deserve to have an opinion.

I have my hopes for this. I've always heard that there was and Incredibles 2 coming out but I never knew when. Well now I know. And now I'm pretty hyped.

The Incredibles remains to be my most favorite Pixar film. Please Brad Bird, make this a masterpiece.

Been waiting for this movie for ages. Hope it won't ruin the franchise like cars 3 did for the Cars series.

3 Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE MOVIE, DISNEY! Wreck-it Ralph 2 is a sequel that I wanted and one that we're finally getting. It's gonna involve Ralph and Vanellope going through the internet. That princess scene was probably one of the most genius things I've seen Disney do. I just hope that the princesses aren't in just that one scene. I hope they appear again later in the film and contribute in some sort of way. I hope the rest of the movie will be as funny as that scene. It would be a let down if that ends up being the best scene in the movie. However, it just makes me even more excited for what's to come. As long as Ralph and Vanellope stay away from the bad parts of the internet.

This was weird, I kinda liked the original better. It was a masterpiece after all.

Ouch. That's when Emoji Movie will crawl to our favorite Disney movie and possessed it after EM died.

As far as concept goes, I'm not necessarily interested about this.

4 Black Panther

The movie comes out in one month. I'm looking forward to it. Black Panther is such a great superhero. I feel like I'm mostly excited for it because it's the first all black Marvel movie. The trailers really caught my interest. It looks like this is gonna be a more serious film. Which is great because lately Marvel movies have been focusing on the comedy aspect. It will be great seeing Chadwick Boseman as the titular character again in his own movie. Really excited for it.

Now this is a movie everyone is looking for! The stunt at the car is stunning! Gonna be a huge hit!

I'm more hyped for this than infinity war! And there isn't nothing wrong with that!

Kendrick Lamar is making the soundtrack, which is nice.

5 A Wrinkle in Time

I have never read the book, but I feel like I probably should to prepare myself for this movie. Even though I hate reading. The trailers for the movie look really impressive. The music gives me chills and the effects look amazing. Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kailing, and Chris Pine are all in the movie. All 3 of them have been in Disney movies before. They were great in those other ones as well. This really looks like it will be great. I can't wait to see it. And better get started on reading the book.

The book was great, the first film unfortunately wasn't very faithful to the book and not too good on its own, let's hope this film is better.

Read the book, seen a play of it, honestly I don't really care about this anymore.

I wanted to see a beloved children's book brought to life - not BUTCHERED!

6 Ant-Man and the Wasp

We finally get to see the Wasp in action! Ant-Man is the most underrated Marvel film. Since he's gonna be teaming up with the Wasp, the sequel might be a lot more interesting. I know nothing about the Wasp, but I'm interested in seeing what will happen in this movie. Scott's love interest in the First was a really cool character. Definitely one of my favorites. They haven't released any trailers yet or any footage. I can't wait until we see what it looks like.

7 Mary Poppins Returns

I honestly don't know what to say, except to quote some Amazon customer review I read (and considering the original Mary Poppins is one of my favorite movies of all time and I say one of Disney's best masterpieces, the books from what I read/glimpsed of them were good but I preferred the film), it's pretty gutsy making a sequel to a Walt Disney classic. After all Walt Disney was one of the greatest storytellers who ever lived. To attempt to match his efforts in a sequel, especially considering it's about nearly 54 years later, is a tall order and failure is a very real possibility...

Mary Poppins returns, y'all! I hated the original Mary Poppins movie, but after watching the trailer (which hasn't been released to the public), I am excited! Lin-Manuel Miranda and Emily Blunt are great actors. Seeing them together in one movie will be great. Emily Blunt is actually in 4 movies this year. One of them looks horrible beyond belief, one of them looks interesting, the other one I don't have an opinion on, and this one looks amazing. It will be nice seeing a Mary Poppins movie made in modern time. This isn't a remake. It's a legit sequel. It's gonna be great. Although, I feel like people might hate it because it's not the original. But from what I saw in the footage, it looks like it's staying true to the original.

I grew up with the original and will skip this one, especially if Emily Blunt sings rap with Lin Manuel Miranda.

Truth be told, this was long anticipated. Also, I loved it, as much as I do the original

8 Solo: A Star Wars Story

This movie's doomed. I really have no reason to be excited about it. What I've noticed on social media is that most of the die hard Disney fans tend to praise anything that Disney comes out with. I can tell you right now that if Disney didn't own Marvel, they would be much harder on Thor: Ragnarok. If Disney didn't own Lucasfilm, they would be much harder on The Last Jedi. I even saw a major Disney fan say that TFA and TLJ are better than ESB. Now, if Disney owned Lucasfilm when that movie came out, to this day he would've probably agreed with everyone else that it is the best Star Wars movie. Solo: A Star Wars Story is a major reason why I'm bringing this up. I've heard many people already saying how excited they are for the movie. Even though we haven't even seen what it looks like yet. I've honestly become worried for the film due to the director change and the fact that it comes out in 4 months and we still haven't gotten a trailer for it. That's a bad sign. Also, I'm not a fan of ...more

I want to see it actually. Just to see what Ron Howard does with it after he became director.

Still no trailers or anything. This is probably going to be another rouge one. Completely unnecessary

After how TLJ went I've lost hope for upcoming Star Wars movies. Well, at least Rian Johnson isn't involved in it. I hope this can be better than the last two atriocities in the Sequel Trilogy at least.

9 Christopher Robin

The Disney remakes are sort of a hit or miss. I loved Jungle Book and thought Pete's Dragon was decent, but remakes like Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella were very unnecessary. However, the upcoming Christopher Robin movie is gonna have a totally new story. But will still feature the characters from Winnie the Pooh. Pooh will still be voiced by Jim Cummings but for some reason Tigger will be voiced by someone else. I don't understand why Jim Cummings is able to reprise his role as one character but not the other. Also, Christopher Robin will be played by Ewan McGregor. Making this his second live action Disney remake after Beauty and the Beast. It will be pretty interesting to see how well he portrays the character. I don't really know anything about the movie other than these things, but I'm curious to see how it turns out.

This was an example of a childhood animation being brought to life with many quirks that made it better. I love this film.

I have high hopes for this... Hope it doesn't disappoint...

The teaser trailer alone was enough to convince me that it might be good

10 The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

This movie looks like a special kind of bad. When I was at D23, I was annoyed by the footage they showed. What was even more annoying was seeing some dude dancing on stage in an unnatural way. They officially released the trailer and I'm still not looking forward to it. It just looks like a mixture of Narnia and Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Has it really come to the point where Disney has to use elements from some of their other live action films? Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland wasn't a good movie. This looks almost exactly like it. It's gonna suck.
