Greatest Artists of All Time

This is a list the greatest visual artists encompassing painters, sculptors, printmakers and installation artists. While art critics may believe themselves to be objective, I believe appreciation of art is very subjective and I expect that as the list develops artists unknown in Europe or USA but popular in other regions may move high in the list.

I would describe him more as a tattoo designing artist as he does not apply tattoos to people, but his designs are out of this world and great videos too! If he were to decorate that chapel in the Vatican then I'd go & look at it!

I believe that he is currently the greatest tattoo artist in the world.

Amazing artist. Always used such great detail as in "the young hare," you were able to distinctly pick every strand of fur. As an artist hair is very difficult to do. He was a great classical artist during the 1400's out Nürnberg, Germany. Phenomenal.

67 Caspar David Friedrich

A great artist, also from Germany. He painted both sides to nature; the good and the evil. Like in "the lone tree." That painting shows the beautiful landscapes but a single tree that was struck by lightning.
