Top Ten Asexual Characters

This can be any character from any platform of any universe. The basic list is coming from my opinion and from what I read. Because I don't know a whole lot of asexual characters, feel free to add some characters if you know them. Be sure to give an explanation why you added that character when you add a new item. And state your username. Disclaimer: I have not really seen most of the shows featuring characters from those shows. Many of these are from what I read from different sources.
The Top Ten
1 Mr. Clipboard (Foodfight!)

He's a robot being controlled by Lady X so he has no real emotions like love.

2 Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter) Luna Lovegood was a witch from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. She was the only child of Xenophilius and Pandora Lovegood. Her mother accidentally died while experimenting with spells when Luna was nine and Luna was raised by her father, who was the editor of the magazine The Quibbler, in a rook-like house near the village of Ottery St Catchpole in Devon. ...read more.

Definitely asexual. She is very eccentric and focuses more on her work and doesn't seem interested in romance. If I was in Harry Potter, I think we'd be good friends.

Not in the books

3 SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongBob SquarePants) SpongeBob SquarePants is a fictional character and the titular character and protagonist of the American animated television series of the same name.

Very few fictional characters are confirmed ace and it makes me feel down and media makes me feel guilty for being aroace. Looks like aro is more common with characters and is mistaken for ace.

Stephen Hillenburg considers all the characters in SpongeBob to be almost asexual anyway.

Was just going to add this until I saw it here. Yes, to all the dudes over at the ‘gay cartoon characters’ list, he is actually asexual, the creator confirmed it.

4 Todd Chavez (Bojack Horseman)

I never saw Bojack Horseman (I really want to), but I saw from a video that he is asexual (the video was Top Ten LGBTQ+ Animated Characters by MsMojo). He said he isn't gay, but doesn't think he's straight either. That's also something I would say if someone asked me a question like that. I really want to watch this show so I can explore his character more. He already sounds like a great character (not just because of his asexuality).

You know why todd is such a good character? be cause he's given a personality before it's revealed he's asexual

I wish there were moe confirmed ace characters instead of guesses.

5 Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) Rainbow Dash is a female Pegasus pony from the 2010 kids' show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She represents the element of loyalty and is one of the six main characters on the show.

Her name is composed of "Rainbow" (referring to the color of her mane, the sonic rainboom she performed, and her previous occupation as a weather pony) and "Dash" (referring to her love for flying and her... read more

Her attitude and character in general is why I think she is asexual.

6 Blaze the Cat (Sonic Series)

DEFINITELY my number one pick. She never fell for anyone (sorry Silvaze shippers, but Silver was just her friend and kind of like a brother to her) and she is an independent character who doesn't need that kind of love to make her happy. She is also very strong-willed and focuses on bettering herself and helping the people she loves (as people).

I think Blaze might fall for someone thou

Does anyone know what asexual means

7 Dr. Claw (Inspector Gadget)

No romance. You can't kiss his face, because you can't see it.

8 the Joker (Batman)

He doesn't love Harley Quinn or anybody. He may of been heterosexual before he was a clown, but not after he became the Joker.

9 Elsa (Frozen) Queen Elsa of Arendelle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 53rd animated film Frozen.

I don't really have much against Elsa herself. I mean, I'm not a fan of Frozen but I think Elsa is hot and I do like how she is independent and she didn't need a big strong man to help her. Referring to the golden inside joke from Wreck-It-Ralph 2 when they exposed all of the Disney princess cliches.

She never fell for anyone and she's independent and keeps to herself. I also think she's awesome (sorry to the Frozen haters on this site).

According to rumours, she might get a female love interest in the sequel.

Can't wait for the reveal in the 2nd movie

10 Giovanni (Pokémon)

He's too busy failing to rule the world to focus on romance.

The Contenders
11 Licorice Whip (Strawberry Shortcake)

He doesn't like romance or happy stuff.

12 Jughead Jones (Archie Comics and Riverdale)

In the comics, he's aro-ace (I never read them by the way; I read that on a source I forget the name of). In the show, well, he likes Betty and they're dating, but I don't think he likes her or anyone sexually in the show.

I like to believe that he's still ace, but I saw somewhere that he isn't ace in Riverdale anymore, despite being ace in the comics. Talk about ace erasure -_-

13 the Duke of Weselton (Frozen)

He doesn't seem to have love for anybody.

14 Hiro Hamada (Big Hero 6) Hiro Hamada is a fictional character who appears as the main character in the 2014 movie Big Hero 6 and is in the Big Hero 6 comics named Hiro Takachino

Ace DEFINITION. Throughout the movie, he is very focused on his work, Baymax and his friends. No sexual attraction coming out of him. I even think he's aro-ace and sex-repulsive like me.

15 Squid Girl (Ika Musume) Ika Musume is the main character from 'Shinryaku! Ika Musume' an anime about a Squid Girl that wants to punish humanity for polluting the oceans, but ends up breaking a wall and is forced to work at a restaurant to pay off the damages.
16 Sheldon Cooper (Big Bang Theory) Sheldon Lee Cooper, Ph.D., Sc.D., is a fictional character in the CBS television series The Big Bang Theory, portrayed by actor Jim Parsons.

I never saw The Big Bang Theory (I really want to though), but even though Sheldon has a girlfriend (from what I saw in commercials about this show), he's still a complete science nerd with no time for silly things such as sex or sexual attraction.

17 Yuri Plisetsky (Yuri!!! on Ice) Yuri Plisetsky (Russian: Юрий Плисецкий; Japanese: ユーリ・プリセツキー, Yūri Purisetsukī) is a competitive figure skater and one of the main characters of Yuri!!! on Ice. He is the second Russian character introduced.
18 Kyle Broflovski (South Park) Kyle Broflovski is a main character in the animated television series South Park. He is voiced by and loosely based on co-creator Matt Stone.

He is very reasonable, sensible, intelligent, and definitely doesn't seem like a character who is looking for love. The wikia also stated that he is asexual.

19 Kaban (Kemono Friends)
20 Applejack (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) Applejack is a female Earth pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She lives and works at Sweet Apple Acres with her grandmother Granny Smith, her older brother Big McIntosh, her younger sister Apple Bloom, and her dog Winona. She represents the element of honesty.

Same as Rainbow Dash.

21 Belle (Beauty & The Beast) Belle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 30th animated feature film Beauty and the Beast (1991) and in the live action remake Beauty and the Beast (2017). Belle is the intelligent and selfless young daughter of an inventor who does not conform to the normal ways of her small minded village.

Sweet, sweet Belle. No matter how much Gaston loves her, she never wanted him because he's such a douche (I think, I haven't seen Beauty and the Beast in years). She is very intelligent, quite chaste if you ask me, and a great role model for young girls. Also, asexuals can find love (and have sex). They're just not attracted to anyone (that whole thing is the definition of the flexible asexual).

22 Kai (Snow Queen)
23 Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Holmes Series) Sherlock Holmes is a fictional private detective created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Referring to himself as a "consulting detective" in the stories, Holmes is known for his proficiency with observation, forensic science, and logical reasoning that borders on the fantastic, which he employs when investigating cases for a wide variety of clients, including Scotland Yard.

Yes, this guy is epic, especially in the BBC version!

24 Horrid Henry (Horrid Henry) Horrid Henry is the main character in the British kids show based on the book series of the same name. He is shown to be horrid to most people, and gets sent to his room.

Makes sense, he's like... 10?

25 Samus (Metroid) Samus Aran is the protagonist of the science fiction action-adventure game series Metroid by Nintendo. A galactic bounty hunter, Samus is usually equipped with her Power Suit, giving her access to weapons she uses to battle her enemies.

She's never depicted as having any interest in romantic partners, and the few relationships she's shown to have (Grey Voice, Old Bird, Adam Malcovich, and the Hatchling) were all familial in nature.
