Top Ten Assist Trophies Who Deserve to Become Playable Characters in Super Smash Brothers
Some people (including me) are sadly dissapointed that many characters who fans popularly demand to be newcomers for Smash have been used as Assist Characters instead of Battle Joiners. So here is a list of many Smash characters emerging from Assist Trophy who deserve a lot better.Note: This list is accurate to both my personal opinion and people's popular and actual thoughts or feelings.

Waluigi is a lanky self-centered, brusque young lad as he is considered evil and the main rival of Luigi. Waluigi is shown causing local havoc in most games he appears in alongside his partner Wario. Waluigi is not instinctively evil or the antagonist (not counting DDR), as a matter of fact, he shows great compassion for his fellow peers, typically for characters Daisy and Wario. Waluigi is also described as lonely, rejected, sad, or depressed due to his relationship with the Super Smash Bros. franchise, and people outside of Nintendo continually rejecting him. None of the Smash characters use bombs. Bomberman would have been a perfectly good unique fighter. I don't understand why he was made an assist.
Indie games need more representation. Why was Shovel Knight an assist?
I personally like him, but I think his moveset would be too similar to Sonic.
The moment I saw him as an assist, I wanted him as a fighter.

Knuckles the Echidna is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a red anthropomorphic echidna who is determined and serious, but sometimes gullible. He has the ability to glide and climb up walls, and is a powerful fighter due to his spiked hands. Best Sonic character. Knuckles totally deserved a spot.
I'd prefer Alucard than Richter, to be honest.

Virtua Fighter is one of my favorite video game series. Akira had so much potential.
