Nobody as dominate is sports like this guy did. He should be in the top ten. I think Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, Lance Armstrong and Michael Schumacher should be in the top 10 because they are/were all in a league of their own against the strongest competition of their sports!

The best athlete of all time at the age if 41 and driving the most powerful machines around the world and collecting his 69th pole position and arguably the most dominate driver of all time 7 title to his name and fighting for each one of them with ruthlessness and aggression.

62 Emmitt Smith Emmitt Smith Emmitt James Smith III is a former college and professional American football running back who became the National Football League's all-time leading rusher during his fifteen seasons in the league during the 1990s and 2000s.

My inspiration and idol growing up, never knew one man could have the kind of impact on my life that Emmitt did, but he did. How can you argue with against the all time leading rusher in the NFL.

Emmitt Smith is or one of the best running backs in cowboy history but when Terrel Owens danced in the star Emmitt Smith did the same thing back and forth

67 Dale Earnhardt Dale Earnhardt Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr., known professionally as Dale Earnhardt, was an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner, best known for his involvement in stock car racing for NASCAR.

Know one will ever have a record like Dale Earnhardt. As a race car driver check out his career. He never finished lower than 11th in point. Ever year of his career was top 11. First year rookie of the year, second year won the winston cup. He was a leader and did more for the sport than any other. No one has ever taken his place after he was killed as leader to this day. Many do not know he was a very caring man and help many on and off the track. If you meet him or new him you fell in love with the man and he had earn the respect of million.

Nobody can repeat his performance! I think he is the best that will ever be, he knew how to do things no one else could! It's gonna take some real talent to exceed his ability's!

I haven't seen any F1 drivers in this list, not to make NASCAR less, but I think that F1 races are way more complex, where is Ayrton Senna, Schumi or Alain Prost? , come on this list is total crap

He sucks he does noteven play sports he just rides a frikan car

68 Serguei Bubka

He should be in the top 3. His record is he broke them all, been out of pole vaulting for 12 years and his record will not be broken in our lifetime.7 world championships. Sure Armstrong should be somewhere, but Bubka is unbeaten.

Best ever, set a margin with other competitors unseen in ANY and ALL sports. - AlphaX

No one ever dominated a sport like Bubka did. And he did it in the most athletic of all sports. Pole vault requires the ultimate combination of speed, strength and agility.

When comparing how much better he was than the rest to people of other sports, he is just about the best ever.

73 Drew Brees Drew Brees Drew Christopher Brees is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League.

10 straight 30+ touchdown 4000+ yard seasons. He is a Superbowl champion a 9 time probowler and has 5 times as many 5000 yard seasons as anybody else. Lethal ability to read defences and pinpoint accuracy, he always performs well at the end of games and had the saints had a defense in the past 4 years he could probably have 3 Superbowl rings

Wow you can't throw

Very good QB

74 George St.Pierre

Georges St-Pierre should be way higher than this. He currently the hardest working athlete... period. He may not be a bodybuilder, but he is definitely the best all around athlete ( I think of all time) currently. GSP al the way.

Put GSP up against any athlete and he wins, you have to be the ultiamte athlete for mma and he's the best in the world

People who don't agree. Try doing some of the stuff he makes look easy

He always had a smile on his face, played the game how it should be played, with passion. He single handily paved way to a whole new generation with love and new appreciation for the sport. The man who reinvented football and made it wonderful time after time again.

He is in the top most famous athletes in the world, how you guys rate koby better than ronaldinho!

How do you even compare a ball player to a soccer player, doesn't make sense...

80 Mario Lemieux Mario Lemieux

Mario Lemieux has greater than any Hockey player that I have ever seen. He he's a big man at 6' 4 230 pounds and still was as skilled as smaller guys like Gretzky and Orr. He likely would've broken a majority of Wayne Gretzky's records had he not suffered severe back problems. And even with the career threatening back problems, he still played better than everybody. Then sadly, in the prime of his career, he was diagnosed with cancer, which took him out of a hand full of the 92-93 season. Amazingly he battled back and played one of the greatest seasons by any player in NHL history. Who knows how great Mario Lemieux could have been had he not been plagued with illness and injury throughout his legendary career.

Gretzky was all offense; Lemieux was as good as Gretzky in that department, but he was a complete player who could hit, defend, even fight. His cancer and back problems slowed him down tremendously; otherwise had a great shot at beating Gretzky's records for goals and points.

if he hadnt of had cancer which caused him to miss so many games, the majority of the NHL's scoring records would be held by 66 not 99

Lemieux beat cancer during his NHL career and was a more complete player then Wayne Gretzky.
