Save Me

Just found this list while looking at album reviews and things of that nature. I was astounded to see this song so low on the list, this by far the band's best song. Period. Both in terms of technicality and just plain great composition. Stop picking the hits, people. The best songs on an album are almost NEVER the singles.

Save Me is at 16?!?! This is the best song Avenged Sevenfold has ever written period. I don't care what you say. This should be number 1!

It's always the less popular songs that catch my opinion. Save Me is by far the best song that A7X has ever written. But everyone likes the Unholy Confessions, the Bat Countries, the Afterlifes. All those popular songs that are only popular because nobody gives any of the other songs a chance. Save Me, just like all the rest of the true A7X great songs are often overlooked.

I've been listening to all the songs on this list from Afterlife all the way down to here, and putting this song here is insane. This is certainly better than Critical Acclaim, MIA, and I Won't See You Tonight, for example, and those are 11-13. This is definitely a top 10 song.

Definitely the best or 2nd best song of Avenged Sevenfold. Masterpiece of epic proportions. I know it's a long song but it's so worth it and great that you barely feel the time pass by. One of the best songs in the world right now. Top notch stuff

Obviously this song is ranked this low because not so many people know it or have listened to it enough. To me this is one of the best songs I have ever heard and it truly is the greatest masterpiece from Avenged Sevenfold.

The Rev said this was his masterpiece, between all of his songs that he wrote, like afterlife, almost easy, nightmare, etc. THe best lyrics are "They said that all beauty must die, I say it just moves on"

#11? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is by far the greatest Avenged Sevenfold song and one of the greatest songs of all time! A true masterpiece, it deserves to be higher on this list. - Xinferno-awaitsX

What the hell you thinking of? This is an EPIC metal song! This masterpiece should be number 1 now! Just listen from intro that's an epic bass, insane drum from The Rev, and it's the 10 minutes masterpiece can make you insane!

This and the alternate version of Afterlife are my two favourite songs, not only by Avenged Sevenfold, but of all time. This song is almost eleven minutes of pure catharsisism. It's not only the absolute best choice for an album closer on the absolute best A7X album, but the most emotionally compelling piece of music I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.

This song is an epic work of art. Vocals and lyrics, raging guitar solo, wailing drums, soft sentimental part. The ending with the sick drum fills is amazing. It does not disappoint, you will go back for more. - SuperMusicCritic

Epic from beginning to the end. It takes you through a journey of sounds and vocals that will leave you with a new appreciation for A7X. You'll never hear this one on the radio and for that, I am thankful.

This song is incredible. It's just one on those songs you have to listen to. It's beautiful. Easily one of syn's best guitar solos in this song. Just listen carefully and you will see how amazing it it.

Man! The Sweet Riffage! The beautiful lyrics, the melody of this song, out of this world, that Drum Beat though! Could be the most Underrated A7x Song, This made me take them seriously, Now I'm all in!

A true epic. The best way to go out on what was to me the greatest tribute album ever written. The last 2 minutes is really hats off material. Surely one of the best songs they've ever written.

How come this be in number 11? This is one of the masterpieces by a7x... The melody of this song gives me chills... I place it next to afterlife...

Its amazing, everything about it is amazing, it really does make you think about stuff which Is why I love it, it is calm and mental all at once, one of if not the best song they've done!

From their latest album, they saved the best for last. This song is nothing short of epic, absolutely amazing piece of musical art. Needs to be much higher up on the list.

Godly song, EPIC vocals, drumming and shredding. The double bass and technique is just incredible. Rev might be gone but portnoy was amazing on this. kudos

Blistering Melodic solo Syn truly out done himself in this one, also the longest song Avenged ever made that manage to captivate you till the end.

This song must be in the top 10. Switch it with Beast and the Harlot, highly overrated. Second best or joint second with So Far Away on NIghtmare. - BeeBlue

The most melodious thrash metal song I've ever heard.. And the double bass outstanding!
This song should actually be in top 10!

You can't find no more greater 10 minutes and 56 seconds. You can't find any mistake. Every part of this song bring you to a mistery world, a world that you know you're losing your only dream but you're not the only one

I have no doubt in my mind this is Avenged Sevenfold's finest piece as musicians. An incredible song that gives me hope in music!

Jesus, how the hell is this not on the list? , this has everything. The vocals are great, drumming is great. R.I.P Jimmy.

and Brian goes nuts! - A7XFTW
