He's a very unique case because he's basically a lead G player (all the time) but he's been switching from lead to backing vox and vice versa:
In Helloween - first lead vox and then backing vox.
In Gamma Ray - first backing vox and then lead vox.
Maybe he should be in the first place?

His backing vox on Alison Hell are more interesting than the lead vox. He can also do lead vocals pretty good and he recorded all lead vox on 3 albums and some songs on other albums (songs - King of the Kill; 21; Fiasco).
