These bands from the 2000's have good sound for their music. Let's get started... Any genre is allowed as long as it's a band and A it's about their sound. No solo artists for this list it has to be a complete band. Enough said and if I forgot anything feel free to add it.
The Top Ten
1 Blind Guardian Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in the mid-1980s in West Germany. They are often credited as one of the seminal and most influential bands in the power metal and speed metal subgenres. Heavily influenced by Queen, they use the technique of overdubbing. They also incorporate large amounts of orchestral arrangements. Hansi Kürsch creates a huge choir effect by overdubbing his own voice multiple times in complex, overlapping harmonies. Thanks to overdubs and numerous backing vocals Blind Guardian stand out with a very dense sound.

Their sound is very dense and currently nobody can beat them (dense is different from heavy). Multiple layers in their songs are very demanding. Their sound got even better after 2002. Aural environment of their songs is one of the best I know. Even a softer song like 'The Throne' (2015) has an impressive sound - there are many instruments and vocal layers but you can still hear everything clearly. A perfect composition and performance.

2 The Killers The Killers is an American pop rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2001, by Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning.

Yes the killers is a mixed of alternative rock and pop elements which could be called alternative pop. And their lead vocalist has a very good voice.

The Killer has a alternative sound that's quite I don't know interesting.

3 The All American Rejects The All-American Rejects are an American rock band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1999. The band consists of bassist and lead vocalist, Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Nick Wheeler, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor.

I can tell bands like Green Day inspired AAR however they sound more like alternative then punk. That aside though they have a really good sound that in my opinion makes it worthy of first place.

Ritter had one of the best appearances for a band member. dirty little secret was their best song in their best album move along

Their sound is innovative, avant-garde, technical and heavy. It includes polyrhythms, rapid key and tempo changes and neo-jazz chromatics.
Meshuggah sound also features eight-string guitars and a drummer who can keep at the same time: the hi-hat and ride cymbal in 4/4 time, and the snare and double bass drums in 23/16 time.
