Top 10 Bands Aragorn98 Hates that Everyone Likes

I'm gonna do something similar to CountBlagorath's list of six bands that he can't stand. Only this time I'm gonna add ten instead of six.

This is all just my opinion and it's not fact. If you like these bands, that's fine. Doesn't mean you're a terrible person or an idiot or a jerk, everyone likes things for different reasons and that's okay. Heck I wish I could get into them because it would give me more stuff to listen to. Also this list isn't in any particular order.

The Top Ten

1 Megadeth Megadeth Megadeth is an American thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California. Megadeth was formed in 1983 by guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson, shortly after Mustaine was fired from Metallica. They have released 15 studio albums to date, and have gone through many lineup changes, with Dave more.

The instrumentation is good, but Dave's vocals ruin it all for me (even he himself admits he can't sing. He really should've thought about hiring a different singer before he formed Megadeth).

2 Metallica Metallica Metallica is an American Thrash Metal band formed in 1981 . The original lineup was James Hetfield (Vocalist and Rhythm guitarist), Dave Mustaine (Lead Guitar), Lars Ulrich (Drums), Ron McGovney (Bassist). The group came into mainstream from their Self-Titled album and the hit single "Enter Sandman". more.

I don't hate them at all. They just don't really interest me to be honest. I tried many times to get into them but I just can't (also they made the musical disaster that is Lulu).

3 Mastodon Mastodon Mastodon is an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in early 2000 and composed of bassist Troy Sanders, guitarists Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher and drummer Brann Dailor.

Just like Metallica, their songs don't really impress me that much. I also find their music videos to be pretty awkward (though I do enjoy the video to Asleep in the Deep).

4 Three Days Grace Three Days Grace Three Days Grace is a Canadian rock band formed in Norwood, Ontario in 1992 with a line-up consisting of guitarist and lead vocalist Adam Gontier, drummer and backing vocalist Neil Sanderson, and bassist Brad Walst. Their original name was Groundswell until they changed it to their current name in 1997. more.

Good lord this band is edgy. This is literally a group of grown men with teen angst who write boring songs with the same lyrics. "I, HATE, EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU! " We get TDG! You're angry and depressed. You guys are adults now so please shut up!

5 Skillet Skillet Skillet is an American Christian rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996 and based in the United States.

I don't hate them because they're a Christian band (people are free to believe in whatever they wanna believe in). I hate them because they're just so incredibly cheesy. Also I find John Cooper's vocals to be pretty awkward sounding.

6 Dragonforce Dragonforce DragonForce are a British power metal band based in London, England. Formed in 1999, the group are known for their long and fast guitar solos, fantasy-themed lyrics, and electronic sounds in their music to add to their retro video game-influenced sound.

The most overrated power metal band. From what I've heard, they speed their music up in the studio. Nothing serious or anything but I honestly think that's just lazy. Why not show people that you can really shred fast instead of speeding up your music to make it sound even faster?

7 Bon Jovi Bon Jovi Bon Jovi is a hard rock band formed in 1983, which had a streak of successful albums in the late 1980s. The band originally consisted of lead vocalist Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Ritchie Sambora (left in 2013), bassist Alec John Such (left in 1994), keyboard David Bryan, and drummer Tico Torres. The band's more.

Just like Metallica and Mastodon, they don't impress me, and Livin' on a Prayer is one of the cheesiest songs I've ever heard. Also their name is pretty egotistical (it's named after their frontman Jon Bon Jovi).

8 AC/DC AC/DC AC/DC are a Australian hard rock band, formed in November 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, who continued as members until Malcolm's illness and departure in 2014 . They were fronted by Bon Scott until his untimely death due to alcohol poisoning in 1979, after which they hired Brian Johnson more.

Doesn't interest me.
Enough said.

9 Cradle of Filth Cradle of Filth Cradle of Filth are a British extreme metal band that formed in Suffolk in 1991. The band's musical style evolved from black metal to a cleaner and more "produced" amalgam of gothic metal, symphonic black metal and other extreme metal styles.

Oh my god I hate this band. I've stated that I'm not too much of an extreme metal guy but there's some extreme metal that I actually do like and that I'll listen to occasionally. But Cradle of Filth is definitely NOT one of those bands. The thing that really sucks about them is Dani Filth's vocals (good lord, it sounds like a woman getting brutally stabbed in the back).

When you say "Everyone likes"... I personally dislike 8/10 bands on this list. - Britgirl

10 Rush Rush Rush was a Canadian progressive rock band that was formed in 1968. Even though the only founding member still in the band is Alex Lifeson (Guitar), the band is most well-known for their current members Neil Peart (Drums) and Geddy Lee (Bass, Vocals). more.

The members are very talented at their instruments, but Geddy Lee's voice does kinda sound like a woman. His voice is just too shrill for me.

I can recommend the Clockwork Angels album. Geddy Lee's voice is laid back on that album, and the music is still great. - IronSabbathPriest
