I love emo, and I adore My Chemical Romance... But the two still have nothing to do with each other. - ThatStrangeKid42

They never said they were emo. They think emo is a load of bull.

They aren't emo and are overrated however your genre description is false, I would say the are alternative/ pop-punk. calling them post hardcore is giving them way to much credit.

I think that they are emo because of their songs

Leave Andy alone...emo is more than just the way the music sounds. It's the message it sends to your heart. It inspires you to feel, to keep going, to be stronger, that you are not nothing. Everyone has their own band that helps them. Don't argue about it, embrace it. ❤

Love 'em, but they are definitely not emo!

Yeah, I laughed too when people said they were emo. what? They're electronic rock, you dumbs hits!

Personally I think P! ATD are alternative, but I laughed really hard when I found out people classified them as 'emo'

I love both emo music and Panic! At The Disco, but saying that Panic! is emo? *spits out vodka* (lmao jk it's just water) THEY DON'T SOUND EMO AND THE LYRICS IS MOSTLY NOT EMO EITHER. But I know many emos including myself that are known to like P! atd. I just can't see why people classify as emo though
