Heavy, melodic, fast and technical at the same time. This is the combination that works best for me.
My favorite solos from Jeff Waters - Schizos (Are Never Alone) Parts I & II, Alison Hell, The Trend, Imperiled Eyes, and many more because he's a born soloist. Dave Mustaine wanted him in Megadeth as a lead guitarist. Jeff Waters is also a great riff master but this is another story. - Metal_Treasure
