Formed in 2004, the group currently consists of vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls, and keyboardist Jordan Fish. They're shows have always been awesome to go to. Whether its in a small club, or the main stage of a festival like Download. These guys always bring their A-game. Who cares if their sound has changed? When you see them perform live it's an incredible experience.

They are great, metalcore/deathcore m/. Their stage presence is awesome. Oli Sykes is a good screamer though many people hated him his is one of a kind...

82 Billy Talent Billy Talent Billy Talent is a Canadian rock band from Mississauga, Ontario. They formed in 1993 with Benjamin Kowalewicz as the lead vocalist, Ian D'Sa on guitar, bassist Jon Gallant and drummer Aaron Solowoniuk. V 2 Comments
83 Journey Journey Journey is an American rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1973, composed of former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch.

Journey is well known for their extraordinary live performances in the seventies and eighties. The sound quality was near perfection every time, and usually better than the studio recorded versions. If in doubt, listen to "Captured," recorded in 1980, or "Live in Houston," recorded in 1981.
Steve Perry's vocals were always crystal clear, not lyrically, but melodically. The heights that he reached with his voice in every concert, on their tough schedule, are awe inspiring and almost unnatural.

Steve perry sounds just as good if not better live than he does in the studio. They are just an incredible band to see live.

84 Shinedown Shinedown Shinedown is an American hard rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 2001 and founded by members Brent Smith, Brad Stewart, Jasin Todd, and Barry Kerch.

People who bash them have CLEARLY never seen them live. The dude sounds just like he does in the studio and they keep the energy going the whole time. A must see for anybody even if you don't like the band.

85 Nightwish Nightwish Nightwish is a symphonic metal band from Kitee, Finland. The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and lead singer Tarja Turunen.
86 Korn Korn Korn is an American Nu-Metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band's current lineup includes founding members Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, with the addition of Ray Luzier, who replaced the band's original member, David more.

I have seen Korn multiple times over the past 10 years and EVER SINGLE TIME they knock it out of the park! My husband has seen a lot more main stream metal concerts than I have and thought I was exaggerating Korn's awesomeness. This past summer was his first experience with Korn and he agreed they crank it up and create an energy that is just something that I haven't yet been able to compare to another band. We are not HUGE Korn fans, they just do a very, very good job in concert. Thanks, Korn! See you next year!

One of the best and heaviest bands going today.

How is this band down here? they should be above avenged sevenfold at least, at music festivals this is the band that get the crowd going nuts more than almost every other band every time

89 Thousand Foot Krutch Thousand Foot Krutch

I can't believe no one has ever even thought of placing this band in the top ten list. They are, there is no other word for it, AMAZING. Especially live. Trevor Mcnevon has a simply splendid voice. The guitar riffs are totally superb. It is one of the most underrated bands. It deserves to be in the same league as the other top bands.

90 Dire Straits Dire Straits Dire Straits were a British rock band formed in 1977 by Mark Knopfler, his younger brother David Knopfler, John Illsley, and Pick Withers.

I can't believe they aren't even on this list. The Dire Straits were masters playing their songs live. A live song was always different than before, and some songs were double the length when they were played live. They made every second count.

I never take any vote based charts seriously, because so many heroes are overlooked, not unlike these guys... I feel bad for people who haven't seen these guys perform live, because they are truly amazing) 119 places to low if u ask me.

91 The Stooges The Stooges The Stooges, also known as Iggy and the Stooges, are an American proto-punk band from Ann Arbor, Michigan, first active from 1967 to 1974, and later reformed in 2003. Although they sold few records in their original incarnation, and often performed for indifferent or hostile audiences, the Stooges are more.
92 Alice Cooper Alice Cooper Alice Cooper was an American rock band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 1964. The band consisted of lead singer Vince Furnier, Glen Buxton, Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway, and Neal Smith.

I have seen Alice live many times and this guy is still the greatest ever. Just an amazing show backed by great music and musicians. Cooper's voice is still powerful and the theatrics in his show are awesome without being vulgar. A true icon. - warrantsbestgirl

I just saw Alice Cooper live last night and let me just say, it was amazing. There was not a dull moment with Alice onstage.

It has got to be Cooper. He set the standard for all theatrical rock shows. The guy is still an amazing live act. - hardrockfanatic

Saw him with Motley Crue and Alice Cooper destroyed the Crue.

The best band I've ever seen live...and it's not even close. I've never seen a vocalist that compares, either screaming or singing, to Chino Moreno.
