Fear Factory is an American industrial metal band that was formed in 1989. During the band's career, it has released nine full-length albums and has evolved through a succession of styles, including industrial metal, death metal, groove metal, and thrash metal. Way heavier than Nu Metal and in general they're progressive metal not Nu Metal.

The Beastie Boys were an American Rap/Rock group that was formed in 1981 by its three original members, Michael "Mike D" Diamond, Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, and Adam "MCA" Yauch. The Beastie Boys actually hated rock music.

Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999 after the disbanding of Overcast and Aftershock. Alternative Metal suits them a lot more in my book.

Rage Against the Machine is a rap metal band formed in Los Angeles, California. The band consists of vocalist Zack de la Rocha, bassist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello and drummer Brad Wilk. They are political and rap a lot but that's not really a constitute of nu metal either. They're pretty much their own thing.
They might've had somewhat of a influence but they're not Nu Metal.

Both this and Saint Asonia definitely don't qualify. I don't see Adam or Matt rapping a lot.

Formed in 2005, the band's name comes from the kung fu movie The Five Fingers of Death. To be fair, Ivan Moody did come from Motograter, which was definitely a nu metal band.
