These bands usually don't sing in English. However there may be few English songs. But for the most part they don't sing in English.

1 Sigur Rós Sigur Rós is an Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavík, who have been active since 1994. Known for their ethereal sound, frontman Jónsi Birgisson's falsetto vocals, and the use of bowed guitar, the band's music is also noticeable for its incorporation of classical and minimalist aesthetic elements. The band is named after Jónsi's sister Sigurrós Elín.

How are they not number 1. They may not of been the first band to sing in their native language but they were the first non English singing band to be popular outside of their home country and became popular all over Europe Asia North and South America

This vote is for my brothers. They sing the German words and when I ask what they're saying, they shrug, look at me as if I've suddenly sprouted an extra head and say "I dunno, do I?! "

Go figure. This is their favourite non-English band.

Members of X Japan thought about forming a new band however in May 1998 X Japan lead guitarist hide was found dead in his apartment as a apparent suicide however the band believes he was practicing a stretching technique that involved a towel and doorknob and since he was intoxicated pass out. In 2007 X Japan reunited after Toshi broke the brainwashing. Today X Japan lineup consists of vocalist Toshi Guitarist Pata and Sugizo bassist Heath and drummer/pianist Yoshiki. At X Japan concerts the members will usually play footage of former members hide and bassist Taiji if you go on the band’s website it will say they are a 7 piece
