Gene Hoglan, aka The Atomic Clock, is an American metal drummer. He started his career in the early 80s as a light technician for Slayer. As a light technician he provided backing vocals for the song "Evil Has No Boundaries" on Slayer's debut studio album Show No Mercy (1983).
He gained popularity in the 80s with his thrash metal band Dark Angel nicknamed "the L.A. Caffeine Machine".

2 Dark Angel Dark Angel is an American thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1981. Their over-the-top style (extremely fast, heavy and lengthy songs with lots of tempo changes, lyrics and extended instrumental parts) earned them the nickname "the L.A. Caffeine Machine".
