Top 10 Bands That Only Released 1 Album

The Top Ten

1 Sex Pistols Sex Pistols The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975. Although they initially lasted just two and a half years and produced only four singles and one studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, they are considered one of the most influential acts in the history more.

It's sad they only released 3 albums

They seem like a great band.

2 Temple of the Dog Temple of the Dog Temple of the Dog is an American rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. It was conceived by vocalist Chris Cornell of Soundgarden as a tribute to his friend, the late Andrew Wood, lead singer of the bands Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. The line-up included Stone Gossard on rhythm guitar, more.

Mix Chris Cornell’s beautiful voice and Stone Gossard’s sick guitar playing. Besides Jesus Christ himself the band has it all. - HardRockSam

Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott wanted to start a new band. Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul from Pantera were in it and it should be enough. To awesome

They had potential, but they were no pantera.

13 Fragile Art of Existence

Actually the band is named Control Denied and the album is called the Fragile Art of Existence. This is a band Chuck Schuldiner of Death formed to dig deeper in Progressive Metal. This consisted of the same line up in TSOP, but with a new vocalist named Tim Amaryl (idek if that's his last name). Chuck wanted to clean sing himself but he was too afraid, but Tim delivered some amazing vocals. Overall this album is very solid. If you are a fan of Deaths later stuff and some Halford like vocals, than this album is for you. Consumed, Cut Down, and Believe ate must listens!

14 Heaven and Hell Heaven and Hell Heaven & Hell were an English-American heavy metal band active from 2006 to 2010. The band was a collaboration featuring Black Sabbath founding members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler along with former Black Sabbath members Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice.

Prog / technical thrash influenced by Yes (for the prog side).
Guitar solos anywhere possible. Cool bass by Les Claypool - the future PRIMUS bassist. - Metal_Treasure
