Mother Love Bone was an American alternative rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1987. The band was active from 1987 to 1990. Frontman Andrew Wood's personality and lyrics helped to catapult the group to the top of the burgeoning late 1980s/early 1990s Seattle music scene. They pretty much invented grunge along with Green River.
They released their debut album, and became a success, but then they got in a car wreck that killed 3/4 members
They only have one album so far and they are very promising.

Damageplan was an American heavy metal band from Dallas, Texas, formed in 2003. Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott wanted to start a new band. The band ended tragically when Dimebag Darrell was shot on stage in a show in Ohio. They had potential, but they were no pantera.

Control Denied was a progressive power metal band formed by death metal musician and Death founder Chuck Schuldiner Actually the band is named Control Denied and the album is called the Fragile Art of Existence. This is a band Chuck Schuldiner of Death formed to dig deeper in Progressive Metal. This consisted of the same line up in TSOP, but with a new vocalist named Tim Amaryl (idek if that's his last name). Chuck wanted to clean sing himself but he was too afraid, but Tim delivered some amazing vocals. Overall this album is very solid. If you are a fan of Deaths later stuff and some Halford like vocals, than this album is for you. Consumed, Cut Down, and Believe ate must listens!
