1 Slayer Slayer was an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California, formed in 1981 by guitarists Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King. 3 Rush Rush was a Canadian progressive rock band that was formed in 1968. The band has had an iconic lineup since 1975, which included Neil Peart (Drums, Percussion), Geddy Lee (Vocals, Bass, Keyboards), and the guitarist, Alex Lifeson. Peart passed away after a 3 year battle with brain cancer in January of 2020. Because of this, Lee says there are no plans to keep the band going, so Rush is most likely defunct. The band has become one of the most well-known progressive rock bands in the world, with such albums as "2112", "Hemispheres" and "Moving Pictures". More than half of their albums have gone gold or platinum, as certified by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America).

I've seen them twice, in 2010 and 2012. Great performance, I'm glad that I can say that I've seen Rush!

4 Megadeth Megadeth is an American thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California. Megadeth was formed in 1983 by guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist David Ellefson, shortly after Mustaine was fired from Metallica. They have released 15 studio albums to date, and have gone through many lineup changes, with Dave Mustaine being the sole constant member.

5 Mastodon Mastodon is an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in early 2000 and composed of bassist Troy Sanders, guitarists Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher and drummer Brann Dailor.

Saw them with Clutch last year. Incredible!

Saw them twice. hands down best show I've ever seen. If you get the chance to see them, do it.

10 Rob Zombie Rob Zombie (born Robert Bartleh Cummings) is an American heavy metal musician, film director, screenwriter and film producer. His career launched in 1985 when he formed the heavy metal band White Zombie. Following their breakup, he began a successful solo career. Zombie began directing in the early 2000s. His most famous movies are Halloween, Halloween II, and House of 1000 Corpses. Rob Zombie has released 6 solo albums, 4 albums with White Zombie, and has directed 9 films and 2 television episodes. He is also the older brother of Powerman 5000 frontman Spider One.

I've heard awful things about him live. Very innacurate. Amazing performance and awesome theatrics. By the way, I high fived him

Saw them as "Dead and Company" this year. They were awesome, also... Lots and LOTS of weed there

13 King Diamond Kim Bendix Petersen, better known by his stage name King Diamond, is a Danish heavy metal musician. He is known for his extensive vocal range, usually sung in falsetto. King Diamond was originally known as the vocalist for Mercyful Fate, but has become notorious for his horror themed Concept albums that he has released as a solo artist. He is also known for his Satanism which he does not see as a religion, but a philosophy by which he lived even before reading Anton LaVey's The Satanic Bible.

Saw him twice in 2015, incredible theatrics. Even if you don't like him, go see him!

14 Clutch Clutch is an American rock band from Frederick, Maryland, originating in Germantown, Maryland. Its four members met while in high school in Germantown and consider themselves a Frederick-based band where they write/rehearse for every album/tour.

With Mastodon in 2015 and again in 2017 with Primus. They are amazing live!

15 Goatwhore Goatwhore is an American extreme metal band formed in 1997 in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States formed by former Acid Bath guitarist Sammy Duet. Goatwhore is known for their fast-paced fusion of black, death, and thrash metal.

I went to their show last year only because my friend was the opening act. Had no idea who Goatwhore was. Awesome show, I got to meet Ben (vocalist) and he's a really cool dude

I'm not a Korn fan, but I saw them with Rob Zombie and they actually put on a good show.
