Bands that don't really sound the same live as they do on a CD. Mainly their vocalist or vocalists either struggle to sing live or can't sing live.

This mediocre one hit wonder band is awful to hear live, they're so out of key that it hurts. Plus their black singer can't sing at all. Not saying that because he's black, but rather because he can't sing in general.

I have seen a performance of Hurt You So Bad on Youtube, and man it was pretty terrible even though I like this song. I have also seen clips, and yeah they sound pretty bad live.

Throughout their career, the band has won numerous different awards and established an immense fanbase.

Anthony Kiedis is off key even on many studio versions.

For the most part Wes lip syncs nowadays and sounds like complete crap but back in the day he could sing.

11 Three Days Grace Three Days Grace is a Canadian post-grunge/alternative rock band formed in Norwood, Ontario in 1992 with a line-up consisting of guitarist and lead vocalist Adam Gontier, drummer and backing vocalist Neil Sanderson, and bassist Brad Walst. Their original name was Groundswell until they changed it to their current name in 1997. In 2003, the band's current guitarist Barry Stock was recruited to the band. In 2013 Gontier left the band due to creative differences. He was replaced with Brad's brother Matt Walst.

In general they sound out of key because of the vocal techinque their singers use.

12 Smash Mouth Smash Mouth is an American rock band from San Jose, California. The band was formed in 1994, and was originally composed of Steve Harwell, Kevin Coleman, Greg Camp, and Paul De Lisle. Their first big hit was Walkin' On the Sun in 1997, they would then get more exposure in 1999 for the song All Star which would be featured in the movie Shrek in 2001. Their style is a mix of ska punk, with a hint of psychedelic music from time to time. They released seven albums with Steve Harwell. In 2021 Harwell retired from the band due to health issues and was replaced with Zach Goode. Steve Harwell passed away on September 4th, 2023 due to liver failure.
