Top Ten NBA All-Stars of 2021Despite all the stuff going on this season, we will have an all-star game and that means we of course have all-stars. The following men have simply been stellar and have led their respective teams to success. These men have contributed at all levels. These are the undisputed stars in the league. All stats are taken from Basketball Reference and are as of February 25th, 2021. Feel free to add any other all-stars. Enjoy!
Kevin Durant is back and it feels really good. He is the Captain for the West and his comeback to basketball has been amazing. Kevin Durant has averaged 29 points 52, 43 splits. He has also averaged 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists. The Nets are 21-12 for the 2nd seed in the East. Kevin Durant is the best player in the NBA right now in my opinion. He has taken the mantle.
LeBron James remains the leading vote getter and the best player still active in NBA. He is averaging 25.8 points on 50, 36 splits. He is also averaging 8.2 rebounds and 8.1 assists. The Lakers are 22-10 for 3rd in the West and he could easily launch the Lakers to 1st place. LeBron is deserving of being the highest voted player in the West.
Joel Embiid is the MVP this season in my opinion. He is averaging 29.8 points per game on 53, 41 shooting splits. He is also averaging 11.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists. The Sixers are 21-11 and hold the 1st seed in the East. He has had a huge bounceback campaign after the bandwagon haters jumped at him. Give Joel that MVP award.
Stephen Curry has had a huge bounceback year for the Warriors. He is averaging 30.2 points on 48, 43 splits. He is also averaging 5.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists. The Warriors have not been good overall though, because they stand at 8th in the West with a 17-15 record.
Giannis has been dominate once again. He is averaging 28.6 points per game on 56, 28 splits. He is also averaging 11.8 rebounds and 6 assists. His team is also 3rd in the East with a 19-13 record. Giannis is just a beast at this point.
While none of us may respect Harden as this point, you cannot deny his 25 point average on 48, 39 slits with 7.5 boards and 11.2 assists. Harden is a great player and deserves to be in the all-star game. He was able to switch his role from score first to pass first in a small span of time.
We basically know what we're going to get from Kawhi at this point. 27.1 points, 6.2 boards, and 4.8 assists. His shooting numbers have not been efficient though which is upsetting (51 and 39). He is leading the Clippers to a 23-10 record. He is still an amazing player and deserves to be an all-star.
Damian Lillard is keeping up his amazing scoring from the Bubble. He is averaging 29.6 PPG on 45, 38 splits. He is also averaging 8 assists and 4.4 rebounds. The Trailblazers are in the running this year with a 18-13 record for 6th in the West. Definitely could be a MVP candidate.
Luka is not having the season we all were expecting, but he has still been very good. He is averaging 28.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 9.2 assists. His shooting splits are good as well (47, 35). The Mavericks have been very weak though at 15-15 for the 9th seed. They need to reach another level.
Slovenia is proud of you Luka! You are the best, my idol for ever.
Kyrie has also comeback full force like Durant. He is averaging 27.4 points on 52, 41 splits. He is also averaging 5.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds. Even though he has missed quite a few games because of his "rehabilitation from current events", he has been amazing. I hope you enjoyed this list.
