It's their best song - definitely! There are many great songs by REM but in my opinion this one can't be beaten.
I love how this song is about the world ending yet the music is happy and cheerful, what makes this funnier is that R.E.M. is a alternative band, which is a genre known for not being happy and cheerful in fact it's quite the opposite.
