1 Maryland Maryland is a state located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, bordering Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.

Maryland is the main state because it has the nations capital.

Maryland is going to win tomorrow. Nov. 27. That means it's going to win for Thanksgiving.

The reason we chose Maryland is because we live there.

2 South Carolina South Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state is bordered to the north by North Carolina, to the south and west by Georgia across the Savannah River, and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.

South Carolina's percentage is 11% and Candice Ford and Candice Clement are11 years old and live in South Carolina! Let's give them a round of applause and squeal for them!

The reason we chose South Carolina is because the winner of American Idol Season 12 lives there.

My cousins live there.

No comparison when it comes to beautiful states and state flags.

3 Virginia Virginia, officially the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a state located in the South Atlantic region of the United States.

The reason we chose Virginia is because our great great grandparents live there.

Virginia is a beautiful flag.

My Grandparents live there and came to Maryland on Jan. 24, 2014!

I went to Virginia for Thanksgiving on November 26, 2015!

4 Texas Texas is a state in the Southern USA. It is the second largest by area and population. Its largest city is Houston.

The reason we chose Texas is because our great grandparents live there.

It's simplicity makes it great. Plus it carries the red, white, and blue and the lone star that the state is known for.

Texas, I know you can't help it, but try to improve it.

The reason we chose California is because Disney Land is there.

New Mexico should be first, & Florida second, New Mexicos is very simple, yet nice; and Floridas reftects the states history unlike many othe state flags that just slap animals & people in togas on & say done.

The reason we chose Florida is because Disney World is there.

7 Arizona Arizona is a U.S. state in the southwestern region of the United States. It is also part of the Western and the Mountain states.

Arizona is a beautiful flag. The colonies are represented, the Colorado Rive, the Copper mining that fed America's industrial might for decades, and the colors of the bars indicate the most beautiful sunsets on God's creation.

The Arizona flag isn't so complex where you can't tell what is even it, and it's also isn't so simple like the Alabama flag. It shows a good color scheme, red and blue to symbolize America as well as the star.

I feel sad for the bottom Arizona.

8 North Carolina North Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state borders South Carolina and Georgia to the south, Tennessee to the west, Virginia to the north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.

The reason we chose North Carolina is because our cousin Alec is in collige.

The Seahawks beat the Broncos 43-8 in the 2014 NFL Super Bowl. I wanted the Seahawks to win because the Broncos are very annoying.

The reason we chose Washington is because the Saints are a football team and we like there gold helmets.
