As a 50+ yr old female not sure my vote will count for much. But saw a couple videos for this band and was impressed by their vocals and the flow of their music. And the meanings (my interpretations of course) of their songs, I enjoyed this band very much.
I think they should be MUCH higher on this list!

This power trio cut their first album (Vincebus Eruptum) in 1967 and featured the best version of Summertime Blues ever recorded in my opinion. They were pioneers of the power trio.
