The Top Ten
I agree there all good if I'd rate them it would be
10. Terence young
9. Barry nelson
8. David niven
7. George lazenby
6. Peter Sellers(the movie was crap, sellers was great)
5. Daniel Craig(he is good but we got wait and see skyfall and then maybe he'll be higher)
4. Pierce Brosanan(all movies were bad except for goldeneye that movie was awesome, brosan has all the other bonds features, connery and moores charm, dalton and craigs coldness and George lazenby's forgettableness.
3. Timothy Dalton( a very underrated bond. His movies are good. He is great)
2. Roger Moore(He has the best charm, he has the most movies, but was not as good as connery)
1. Sean Connery(great, original, if any other actor was before him he probably wouldn't have been the best)
Sean has always been my Bond. You Only Live Twice was the first film I sat down and fully watched and I really enjoyed it. So Sir Sean you are the definitive 007 and you deliver my favourite line ever in a bond film in Dr No: World domination, the same old dream.
Sean Connery is obviously the COOLEST James Bond ever. I like him because is the smartest and he just looks like his real name could be James Bond.
But also any actor for James Bond is awesome (because they are playing James Bond)
I LOVE SEAN CONNERY!
He also has the best track record when it comes to the movies, I think Craig may have given him a run for his money if he was gonna do more movies and if Spectre turned out better than it was, Moore was great as Bond but quite a few of the movies were less than impressive, Dalton was cool, but didn't get enough movies to showcase his full potential and Lazenby's was just plain bad, Connery on the other hand had ones that at the very least were entertaining
The Daniel Craig James Bond movies are the ones that got what I like to call The Star Trek Treatment, the older Bond movies, like the old Star Trek movies, were movies that relied more on dialogue and story rather than action, the action was there but it was a little more layed back and relaxed, whereas the Daniel Craig Bond movies, Like the new Star Trek movies, are much more action heavy, in the end it really comes down to what you prefer, the slower burn of the older movies, or the fast paced action tone of the newer movies
I think his portrayal of the character is the most realistic and least sensationalized.
I like how Daniel Craig is a more focused actor towards the actual action scenes and his seriousness always makes me feel like he can never lose. The reason he's number three on this list and not 1 or 2 is pretty easy to figure out.
1.Blonde hair, James Bond always has black
2. Not as smooth with the ladies
3. A James Bond may not be as serious as him
Well I think all 3 of those reasons that I've heard from people are stupid
1. The blonde hair doesn't bother me
2. I don't think he's to bad with the ladies
3. I love that kind of seriousness in a Bond
Vote for Daniel Craig!
The est James Bond ever! Daniel Craig is best of them all when it comes to action sequences quality and stunts. He's ice cold and that makes him a very aggressive and exciting James Bond. Love him!
Pierce brosnan is one of the best looking James Bond there is. His attitude is just perfect for the role and his movies are just, awesome. Please vote for him because he is the best James Bond for the role.
This guy should be the best James bond actor, so far, in the movie James Bond franchise. His looks and acting is perfect to be a James Bond.
Pierce Brosnan is probably the prettiest of them all who has played bond, but that's not the reason I think he's the best, the reason for that is because he combined all the elements of the previous bonds together, he has the charm of Connery, the gift of comedy that Moore had, and the darkness of Dalton. And while Timothy Dalton is my favorite James bond and I do think he's the best as well, Pierce Brosnan has to be my second favorite.
He is the best such a good actor he makes me laugh smile the best bond no one can beat him I do like the other bonds but pierce Brosnan is best so far love his movies makes them his own best James bond over which he was still James bond!
Fleming himself thought Moore was the actor to play Bond ( and, strangely, Hoagy Carmichael ). Roger played the role more times than anybody which should tell you something. They say that your favorite Bond is the first one you see on the big screen, so it's always Roger Moore for me.
Roger is my favorite James Bond. I think Sean Connery was original and very unique Bond; Pierce Brosnan had the best look; D. Craig is probably the hottest; T. Dalton is definitely the most underrated and overlooked.
Anyway, are. Moore is still my number 1. He added a great humor to this role even though critics didn't like it - Irina2932
Albert R Broccoli and Harry Saltzman like Cary Grant and Roger Moore.

#Bond 1973 The lost documentary
Roger Moore /James Bond actor 1964.
Connery =Dana Broccoli and movie Little people.
Actor :Sean Connery
Another actor can not =Sean Connery.
His version of Bond is charming, debonair, witty and cunning. These are elements I like to see in Bond even though may not be Ian Fleming's actual Bond. It was hard to find a replacement for Sean Connery (just look at George Lazenby), but he did a great job replacing Sean Connery and is the only older Bond actor to successfully replace a younger actor. His legacy of 7 Bond films reflects his success. I don't know why he's underrated so much.
Has anyone here read the source material? Bond was not wrote as a wise cracking smart ass, he was dangerous and capable of going off on rampages. Dalton has been the only Bond to capture this. Although I would caveat that Craig has started to channel the best parts of Daltons performances. - MickDee
Timothy Dalton's Bond is so underrated. He may have been tougher, but he was definitely a better bond and played him the way Ian Fleming would have wanted him to be portrayed.
Timothy dalton is not only the best looking bond but he also does the best performance as bond and just that makes you feel like he is really james bond and that's why he is my favorite sure he only played in two films but those two bond films The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill are probably two of my favorite bond films in case your'e wondering what's the other one well if you must know it's GOLDFINGERR! Sorry.
While Pierce Brosnan is my favorite actor to play Bond, if James Bond were a real person, I think he would be like Timothy Dalton the most.
I regard George Lazenby James Bond right up there with Sean Connery's. Don't get me wrong if you push me and you don't have to push me too hard my favorite of all time is Sean Connery' James Bond. But my list would be 1. Sean Connery, 2.George Lazenby, 3. Timothy Dalton 4. Daniel Craig, all the rest of actors you put them in whatever place you want, for me these four are the best that did Ian Fleming's James Bond justice.
Totally underrated. Remember OHMSS was his first movie EVER! The movie like the book is tough, Bond shows his human side and actually falls in love. Marries and than has Tracy die on the wedding day. New actor and a very different characterisation threw audiences and the style of the film very "60s" makes it dated and a little silly looking now.
Worst of all George got some terrible advice being convinced the series would not last by an agent and told to leave the series and try to cash in on his sudden fame. He opted out of his three picture deal. WORST ADVICE EVER!
He was tough, athletic and his acting would have matured. We would have got the three sort arc like the books and they could have been great! I mean Daniel Craig era stories great (though maybe not the acting quality George was a novice). The two great book to screen adaptations that could have been.
Not a great actor but had confidence, charisma, and athletic ability. He had the misfortune of following Connery but, watch his turn as Bond and he will stay in your mind.
Somebody has to get 6th place. In all honesty, Lazenby had a good performance. He made the character more human and emotional. Was more believable than Connery as a Bond who would tie the knot. - marmalade_skies
I don't know what to say but he's not a great choice for a bond actor
Way to old I mean how chould he be in a James Bond movie
Okay. Nothing special he's handsome but should be higher
