I just read this in school and it was amazing! It was very shocking at the end. I was stunned out of my mind and I wish it didn't have to end! Every aspect of it was thrilling and it blew me away. It will change your view of life and your view on people completely! The ending still shocks me to this day! It is amazing how she tied in all of the murders in with the poem. She uses clever reasons why things happen and you will LOVE it!
This is the best murder mystery ever written! Only Agatha could pull it off. Ten people called to an island die one by one in accordance to an age old nursery rhyme. As the number lowers paranoid sets in when they realize the murderer is among them. Each character is unique and the plot is BRILLIANT! The people die, and then there were none, still you have no clue who the murderer is until the last page and suprise ending. A must read for any Agatha Christie fan, or otherwise. The attention to detail is fantastic, and unlike anything ever written.
I was forced to read it for a school project, but two chapters into it, I was hooked on it. The plot it wonderfully brilliant, the writer herself is a genus. It flows perfectly together and the ending does NOT disappoint. I recommend it to everyone, even "non readers" because it was a big change from reading child novels and reading brilliant works such as this one
And Then There Were None is a dark, suspenseful, incredibly brilliant mystery. I read it in an hour and a half! The best selling murder mystery in history, I consider it second only to Curtain: Poirot's Last Case. The plot is masterful and the characters superb. You will not be able to put it down!
The best! The suspense was brilliantly maintained - and the skill of Agatha Christie reflected in the fact that it managed to make the entire story plausible. It keeps the readers guessing and intrigued till the last page (literally). One of the crime fiction which certainly deserves to be read and owned by all book-lovers.
This story was as great as any of her novels but if it comes to me I would say that the unexpected guest is the most best novel ever but this one is awesome too it made me thinking if who's the killer and the murder all the time the end was good but not unexpected as I wanted any way it's amusing to read her books
One of the best Agatha Christie novel of all times... Can't even guess the killer at the end of the book. In an easy and understandable language you cannot keep the book down even for a second before its over... An awesome book. Makes you believe that Agatha Christie was really the queen of mystery writing
At first I was intrigued by the storyline which was some 10 people getting an invitation for a party in an island by some mysterious host. Later, they get killed one by one. Who is the murderer?
While I was reading, I was guessing who the murderer was but at the end I was proven wrong by the master class of Agatha Christie.
Probably one of the best thriller ever written by any writer. I recommend this to all of them.
This was actually my very first Christie novel and apparently, I couldn't have picked a better one! It was thrilling and gripping and page-turning and all of that - I just had to finish it in one go, and it's one to be re-read for decades to come, I'm sure of it.
Only book I've read of hers. Enough to prove to me that she is the true "Queen of Crime". This book had the best murder system I've ever read or seen. And the murderer and the way he/she commited the murders was just brilliant. And the base of the story, Ten people invited to an island, Killed, one after the other. And the poem. Keeps creepily hanging around through every death. Truly a masterpiece!
I absolutely loved this book! I'm an eighth grader and sometimes old novels can bore me, but this book was fantastic. The plot was marvelous, suspenseful and thrilling. It kept me guessing until the very end. I recommend any person to read it.
Superb book. The ending was really shocking. Nursery rhyme, back stories this book is a real masterpiece. In my view this is the best detective and mysterious book I have read.
Perfectly crafted book! You just cannot predict the ending! Every time I grew suspicious of any particular character Christie would just kill them off in the next couple of pages!
Without doubt a most ingenious narrative technique, amazingly cunning final death and delicious way of revealing it all. Sadly dramatizations always slightly spoil the 'punch' by altering these two aspects of the book but the sheer unrelenting tension of the island trap cannot be lost, as the eerie rhyme is played out!
I haven't read it but I just got the book and by reading all the comments the book sounds great. I can't wait to read it! ;-)
Awesome! My admiration for agatha christie is soaring high after reading this book. I don't think anyone has ever been able to write such a masterpiece as this.
Absolutely magnificent mystery novel, a must read, the plot is intense, and the book is well written, a mystery that keeps you guessing until the end.
I used to listen to the Ten Little Indian poem all the time when I was a kid and loved it! Read this book, it'll be in your top 5 books of all time!
Truly unbelievable! This gem of a murder mystery blew my mind in its amazing and suspenseful writing. It is undoubtedly the best murder mystery ever written. Agatha Christie displays her genius in this jaw-jropping book about 10 people getting murdered by the verses of a nursery rhyme.
An amazing story. You can read it so many times and never get bored of it. Overall in m point of view the best crime story ever written!
I love this book its so awesome. I thought it was going to be really boring but I was really wrong! I love this book its crazy at the end.
Truly the best book by her! The ending was so surprising and unexpected. Leaves you with a gut-wrenching feeling! She is brilliant.
I have never read the book. I read the plot on wiki, and I couldn't go to sleep after that. I ended up staying on my computer till 6 AM.
Read the book, watched the series and played the game. Still can't get enough of this story. One of my all time favorite books.
