Top Ten Best Albums of 1987

The Top Ten

1 Michael Jackson - Bad

As usual, I've been scanning this top ten list and I find myself having a hard time finding a list with Michael Jackson not on number 1. unless it is a list that's not related to him or is negative... Indeed no one can surpass the MAN, Michael... Bad album got 5 songs which reached number one on the billboard hot 100.. first is "I just can't stop loving you", next "bad", followed by "the way you make me feel", then "Man in the mirror" and lastly "dirty diana" which is the first in history and was inducted on the guinness world of records... actually BAD album is not just the best for the year 1987 but also considered one of the greatest albums of all time... all hail to the KING OF MUSIC...

This is one of the best selling albums of all time and rightfully so

My love for all time

2 Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction

Bad deserves to be at number, Appetite for Destruction deserves number 2... Uplift Mofo Party plan should at least be at number 5... other than that I could care less.

I like Bad, but this deserves to be right behind it. If Bad has 88% of the votes, this should have 22%.

This should be #1! How the absolute hell is Michael Jackson bad #1!?

What!? This one must be on the first place

3 Anthrax - Among the Living

Since I can't vote for The Legacy by Testament, I'll vote for the second best album of 1987

Nice! Did not expected this one this high *CLAPS*

Faith in humanity has been restored

Why is pop music above this?

4 Def Leppard - Hysteria

I started listening to Hysteria (the song) about a month ago and it is currently my favorite song not only of definitely Leppard but of all my music

Glam Rock is defined by this album. I'm not really sure how I feel about this album. It's alright, I prefer definitely Leppard songs to albums.

This album is the best album of 1987 with whitney houston.

This is "definitely" initely the best album from 1987. To me, it is like a greatest hits album. 7 singles, killer guitarists, awesome bass, one-armed drummer, killer lead vocals. What else could you want?

5 Belinda Carlisle - Heaven On Earth

Heaven Is a Place On Earth, I Get Weak, Circle In the Sand...this album is fabulous and Belinda's voice is so sweet

Americans don't deserve this talented woman. They never appreciated her talent

6 Whitney Houston - Whitney

2nd place next to bad

7 Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse of Reason

?!? ? This deserves at least 5

8 Aerosmith - Permanent Vacation
9 Red Hot Chili Peppers - Uplift Mofo Party Plan

Underrated album from my favorite band

13 Sonic Youth - Sister
14 The Smiths - Strangeways, Here We Come

18 George Michael - Faith
19 Sandra - Ten On One
20 U2 - The Joshua Tree

How is this not even in the top 10? It's a beautiful masterpiece. Much better than Michael Jackson's Bad.

41st? Sorry, I don't understand. This is THE album. A sonic masterpiece. The most deep and beautiful music you will ever hear.

1. The Joshua Tree
2. Bad
3. Appetite for Destruction

What!?! 40th? It desrve to be at least top 5! Where the streets have no name, still haven't found what I'm looking for, with or without you, running to stand still, on tree hill, exit, mother of the disapeared, and only 40th? What the...?
