Best Animes of the 2000s

The Contenders: Page 2

21 Love Hina Love Hina

One of the best harem, romantic comedy series of the early to mid 2000's. Great music, characters, and awesome adventures.

22 Clannad After Story Clannad After Story
23 Lovely Complex
24 Fairy Tail Fairy Tail Fairy Tail is a manga franchise created by Hiro Mashima. The manga has been adapted into an anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight, which began broadcasting in Japan on October 12, 2009. Additionally, A-1 Pictures and Satelight have developed seven original video animations and an animated more.
25 Hell Girl

Ai Emna is not only one of the most monotone characters in anime, but also one of the most interesting. There is an air of mystery surrounding Hell Girl that is incredibly intriguing. And watching some incredibly terrible people being dragged down to hell is very satisfying. Even if Kikuri did annoy the living hell out of me, the series is still amazing.

26 Black Butler Black Butler

Darkly funny with a plot twisted enough to to keep my eyes glued to the screen, the relationship between Ciel Phantomhive and his demon butler Sebastian manages to creep you out and make you laugh. Like many I was slightly disappointed with the way Black Butler 2 ended, but the anime as a whole is still one of my favorites.

27 Ergo Proxy Ergo Proxy Ergo Proxy is a science fiction suspense anime television series, produced by Manglobe, directed by Shukō Murase and written by Dai Satō.

A hauntingly beautiful setting, dark and gritty plot, amazing leading character. Re-l is smart with an edge of rebellion.

28 Monster Monster

Monster managed to maintain it's suspense and intrigue throughout it's entire 74 episode run, it is both an amaing psychological thriller and a layered mystery.

29 Gunslinger Girl

This chilling and ever serious anime explores the relationships between the incredibly young assassins and their much older male handlers in a way that sends shivers down my spine. The story is depressing and dark but hugely fascinating. The series is filled with moral ambiguity. The sad anime is a poetic masterpiece.

30 Attack On Titan Attack On Titan Attack on Titan, also known as Shingeki no Kyojin in Japanese, created by Hajime Isayama, is one of the most popular Japanese anime series to be released. It was first watched in Japan during 2013 and was dubbed in English to be watched in America in 2014. It is best known for its emotional moments, more.

This came out in 2013. So it was released in the 2010's, not the 2000's. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
