Full Metal Jacket has a wonderfully psychological, relevant, unravelling, and terrifying first half. For that alone, it's the best anti-war movie in my book. But the second half? It's so inflated, it's got nothing to it... just like 100% of Dr. Strangelove, which I can't believe is at number 1. Now I shut up.
