Metallicas is the best, on the albums load and re-load it was changed, but then it was changed back to the old classic logo, METALLICA RULES!

Metallica's logo is awesome and they have some really good songs too.

The lightning bolts represent satan the fallen angel.

In terms of creativity, this logo certainly is up there. A lot of efforts was definitely put into it and not a lot of bands put in that same effort.

Freddie Mercury based it on the star signs of the members of the band. There are two lions for the two Leos. A crab for the Cancer and two fairies/pixies for the Virgo! And of course the Q in the middle for queen. It's brilliant!

This logo looks incredibly grand, and has quite a lot of detail put into it. Especially since the Q is like a coat of arms.

Made by Freddie Mercury, who was very talented not just in singing and songwriting, but in drawing, too.

As much as I love nirvana, this is a list for the best band LOGO, not the best band. Lets face it nirvava's logo wasn't/isn't that great, it's just a smiley face with "x" eyes... I can think of 10 bands off the top of my head with a better logo.
