Top 10 Best Black Veil Brides Songs

The Top Ten
1 In the End

This was written after the death of Andy's grandfather. He said, "I was very close to him. Every day after school, I would go to his house and talk. During the funeral, people were talking about how my grandfather would go into Heaven, and how wonderful a person he was. I started to think about what heaven is." Andy is an atheist. "I hope I'm wrong, and I hope he is in the clouds, but on a personal level, I was thinking of the importance this person had to all these people at the church. If nothing else, Heaven is a legacy that you leave with the people around you. If there was a place that is Heaven, that's wonderful. But people telling the story of your life after you've lived it, those are the people who create that afterlife you have and continue this legacy. This song is about, when you die, who is left to remember the moments you had, and what have you done that would make you someone of substance? Have you done what you wanted to do with your life?"

I think of his words when I listen to it, and it empowers me to try to build my character into what I want it to be so that when I leave this life, I will have left my mark on the world.

2 Knives and Pens

This was the first Black Veil Brides song I ever heard and the song which saved my life on three occasions. It means more to me than any other song. Not many people know this. It has so much meaning. It's about the lead vocalist singing how he was bullied in high school so badly that he had to move schools and houses several times. His family received death threats, his house was graffitied on, etc. And it really moved me and many others. It brought me into the Black Veil Brides 'fandom,' and I will never regret it.

3 Fallen Angels

Dude, Black Veil Brides are the best band ever. Fallen Angels has to be their best song. I have been listening to Black Veil Brides from the start, and I absolutely think this song is just the most amazing song ever. We scream, we shout, we are the fallen angels. It's a hard song to get out of your head. LOVE IT.

This song changed my life and probably also saved it. Black Veil Brides are the best band in the world and deserve a much bigger army than they already have. I am definitely a devoted member. Thank you so much, Andy. I love you with all of my heart, more than anything.

4 Perfect Weapon

The best and probably heaviest Black Veil Brides song. The guitar solos, vocals, bass, it's all really good quality music. Love the intro with Andy Biersack screaming, even the music video is top notch. AMAZING. Should be number 1.

This song is amazing! I really dig it. The screaming vocals, the meaning behind the lyrics, and the guitar riffs are like magic when put together!

Really cool song, especially the intro part - the first long scream, and the chorus of this song is just amazing.

5 Rebel Love Song

This song has like 4-5 different rhythms, and it is literally so cool that they tied all of them into one song. It's very catchy, to say the least. I often get it stuck in my head, and listening to it again doesn't help. It's a very relatable song, even for those who don't listen to BVB on a constant basis. Superb song - and that's to say the least.

This is the best song they ever had. Why? Because I really love this song. When I see this music video, I love their style because they wear full black clothes and they draw their faces like the Joker... Come on, guys, vote for this band... and that's all from me...

6 Sweet Blasphemy

I love how they say, "Through sadness you have taught us to be one with the crowd/Unveil the sacred order, hymns of falling down/You told the greatest stories, of love and bleeding crowns/But to the sick and hungry, you cannot be found." It's like they're thanking their fans for opening their eyes, and teaching them new things about life.

Sweet Blasphemy's meaning is hard to tell, but it is strong and there. Most people don't realize the song is about fighting against what people want you to be and standing up for yourself and what you wish to believe in. The song is purely amazing.

7 The Legacy

It's a very meaningful song. I love this song as it's about how they were nothing at one time and now... now look at them, they're a lot more popular and have a huge fanbase. I'm proud to say I'm a part of it - most of the time.

Best song ever. The chorus is amazing. I haven't heard a better song than The Legacy, and the guitars are like the best ever. This song kills. Best ever. I cannot understand how this is not first. Make it first!

I think that this is their best song! It's just epic! The music, the lyrics! They're all awesome! I love the breakdown before the solo, Jake's solo as well, and I love Jinxx's part after Jake's! And the epic CC's drum intro is beast!

8 Coffin

Musically, this is probably Black Veil Brides' best song. Everything about it is good. Andy's singing and screaming have improved, and the guitar work is excellent. The backup vocals are amazing, the bass playing is a lot better than in their other songs. And of course, CC's drumming is the best.

I'm glad to know that hope in humanity is not all lost. This song is one of their best, and I am proud of my fellow army members for keeping it in the top 10. I personally think it belongs in the top 5, but that's just my opinion. Keep voting it up, amazing people.

9 Lost It All

It's so beautiful. Black Veil Brides' way of saying it's okay to be sad sometimes and that it's okay to fall down is truly moving. This song was so beautiful, calm, and sad in the beginning, gradually building up in the middle, and finally ending with "I believe that we all fall down." I am very surprised that this isn't at the top!

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this song is! It gave me the feeling that everything is going to be okay, that it's okay to be sad. The message just filled me with love and hope. I love the song so much, not to mention the beautiful piano, the video itself, the violin, and just everything about it was perfect.

10 Savior

Without this song and this band, I wouldn't be alive today. It sounds pathetic, but this band really has and continues to save me and keep me going. Thank you to Black Veil Brides for always being there for me when no one was, and helping me express how I feel through your music. Helping me admit to and solve the problems that I wouldn't even admit to myself. Everything that they do and say inspires me, and I love them so much.

Thank you to Andy for being my Savior...

Savior should be in the top 5 because without this song and this band, my life would be pointless. There are other good songs that ROCK, like Knives and Pens, Fallen Angels, Perfect Weapon, and In the End, but I personally think that this song should be in the TOP 5!

The Contenders
11 The Mortician's Daughter

I think it is awesome! Just like all their songs, but this one, come on, it is just so touching! Love Black Veil Brides so MUCH! And my favorite lyrics from this song are "I love you more than I can ever scream" and "I sit there and smile dear, I smile because I think of you and I blush"!

This song is different compared to their usual work, but I love it. It is so touching and sweet. You feel happy and relaxed when you hear it, you feel peaceful. It is just amazing, at least in the top 5 in my opinion.

Every time I hear this, I smile like a little kid again. I smile a real smile, not the fake one I show to society to avoid the same question: Are you okay? This song gives me the familiar feeling of a first-grade crush, which makes me so happy.

12 We Stitch These Wounds

I'm new to this band - I've only been listening to them for about 4 months now, but the first song I listened to was this and I just fell in love. The meaning these guys put behind their songs is amazing and honestly, when I feel down or alone, I think of these guys and there is always a song that helps me in the situation. Definitely a song worth listening to. Jas/z

This song is way more epic than Knives and Pens. I know Knives and Pens has an awesome music video, but this song is just better. It has great screamo, and the beginning draws you in. This song makes you listen to Black Veil Brides.

13 Die for You

This song is amazing, purely amazing. The first time I listened to it, I couldn't stop. Unfortunately, it's very underrated in my opinion, like a lot of other songs in the STWOF album. It deserves heaps more recognition. I'd easily recommend this song to any fan of Black Veil Brides.

Amazing song! The lyrics are so meaningful, the chorus is fantastic, and I often find this song stuck in my head. I have nothing much more to say, although I'm extremely shocked this is ranked at 25!

So underrated, this song has some of the best and most gripping choruses of any song and is truly incredible. This is a brilliant song and deserves a much better position than this.

14 Set the World on Fire

This song is amazing! It is a very good, inspiring song. Andy is an amazing singer, CC is an amazing drummer, Ashley is an amazing guitarist, Jinxx is an amazing violinist, and Jake is amazing! This band is inspiring! They have taught me to never give in, and I love them for that!

The best by far, this reaches out to all the lonely, the wretched, and forgotten. And that is wonderful. This song gives a lot of depressed people new hope that they are important and that they have a choice.

This song is the best! How is it only 14th? For crying out loud, this awesome tune was on Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. This song pumps me right up! Top 5 at least.

15 Wretched and Divine

Honestly, it's so difficult to pick a favorite, but this song, to me, just stands out. Whenever it comes on, I can never skip it, and I feel like each time I hear it, I'm listening to it for the first time again. It's a song that's beautifully crafted, with a melodic intro that shifts right into a steady first verse. Then, it picks up the pace again before going into one of the best choruses.

This song is incredible! The album is probably my favorite, and The End and New Years Day are on that album! Put it higher up.

Best song! The entire album was so great that it made me cry, but especially this song is just amazing.

16 Carolyn

15th place?! The spine-chilling intro, the calmness and veiled intensity of this song, the hope and strength in its lyrics... I seriously thought this would be at least in the top 5, if not first. The guitar solo by Jake is amazing as always. That guy is an awesome and very talented guitarist!

I don't know much about this band, but so far, this is the best song I've heard by them. It's absolutely beautiful. The guitar, Andy's vocals, the lyrics... it's a gorgeous song. Should be higher on this list, in my opinion.

This song should be in the top ten! It should be #1! Come on, people! This song is so meaningful, and Jake Pitts rocks his guitar solos! Oh, and let's not forget about Andy! His voice is so beautiful, and his lyrics are so inspiring! Go BVB!

17 Let You Down

I love this song so much. It's quite hard to describe exactly why, but I feel like I can relate to it so much. Andy's voice is really believable when he sings, "I swear these words are true... I BELIEVE IN YOU! I'll never let you down, I promise right here, right now." It makes me feel so much better, even though I don't know him personally. It's like he and the rest of the guys are always there for me and have a song for every situation I'm in. This song, in particular, is my favorite from their new album, and I can't thank them enough for doing what they do best - making music. Definitely worth listening to. Jas/z

18 I Am Bulletproof

This is one of my favorite songs by Black Veil Brides. It shows how far they have come and how they have grown as a band. These songs from this album really stand out from their previous work. I Am Bulletproof shows how far Andy has come as a singer, and this should at least be number 10!

This song is an ANTHEM. I swear the solo and the vocals kick ass. Plus, you get Andy's screaming to accent the whole thing. It's one of my favorites at the moment.

This song captures the story of the album in a few minutes, and the chorus is one like nothing BVB have ever done. For this reason, the song is the best from their new album in my opinion.

19 Heart of Fire

It's an amazing song, and the video shows how much they have changed in four years. It's an epic masterpiece, and I honestly can't believe it's not higher on this list.

Yes, just yes! This song is so amazing! There are no words to describe how much I love it. How is it only in 19th place?

Such an amazing and catchy song, and I can confirm that Andy gives the middle finger 1:01 into the music video, I believe, and that gave me a bigger reason to love this song! Go BVB!

20 Goodbye Agony

This song has such a deep meaning about letting go of the "agony" and misery of the past. It's about letting go of what keeps you down and looking to the future for a new beginning. I love this message. Andy portrays it very well in the music video and the lyrics of the song. Why this song isn't higher is beyond me...

This song should honestly be higher on the list just for the sheer meaning of the song. This song represents how Andy is letting go of what used to be his sadness, his anger, his despair. Like he's starting with a new beginning. An amazing song. My number 1 song.

21 Smoke and Mirrors
22 Ritual

"Ritual" helped me through some extremely tough times. Especially the lyrics "stronger in new ways, don't care what they say, this is your life, it's time to rejoice". I have an anxiety disorder and get down a lot because of other people (can't help it), and whenever I hear this part of the song, I just lose all my down...ness, and gain so much new self-confidence. Sorry if that was a little preachy, but this song means a lot to me.

This is the best song ever. Not only does it have a good beat, but it also has a good meaning behind it. "Rise up and celebrate your life, sing for what you feel inside." The words have quality and they really speak to the heart. Just pure amazingness! I think this should have gotten more votes. It's my number one favorite song of all time. Definitely, it deserves to be number one!

23 New Years Day

Absolutely amazing song, what introduced me to Black Veil Brides and that's why I love them so much! Should be a lot higher on the list. The countdown is fantastic and the guitar solo is remarkable.

This song captures the energy of a battle in a song, and then the breakdown is a violin solo, which I find awesome because I can't imagine any other band like BVB ever doing this.

I love this song. The teaser for the Wretched and Divine album should have been "Rise from the Ashes -- 2013." Oh gosh.

24 Children Surrender

I love this song. No words needed.

25 The Gunsling

This song is amazing and underrepresented. It deserves more credit than it's given. The Gunsling came out before We Stitch These Wounds and Set The World On Fire, both of which are amazing albums. But without The Gunsling, we wouldn't have the songs we do. This song should be at least top 5.

Best song ever heard in my life. This song deserves to be in the top 5. But it's okay to be at 10th.

I don't know many people who know this song, but it was just so fast-paced. I love it.
