Top 10 Best Books for Teen Girls

My personal favourite books for teenage girls. Check out these books, they're really awesome.
The Top Ten
1 The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky Product Image

Charlie is just so sweet. I just want to give him a hug all the time! It really teaches you about people, and that everything isn't what it seems.

Great book! Take it from a nerd! And with Logan Lerman and Emma Watson acting in this movie it's a great idea to catch up!

Fab story! The movies really great too and the ending just shocked me! A must read!

I watched the movie. I don't have the book. :(

2 The Last Song - Nicholas Sparks The Last Song - Nicholas Sparks Product Image

I agree with the first comment. This book is really gripping. To tell you honestly, I cried a lot while reading this book. It's just so heart-wrenching and addictive. The main character demonstrated maturity and compassion. It's emotional and depressing in the end but still has a happy ending.

This is my favorite book! It has action everywhere! A true love story! A sad ending! Definitely is not predictable! Perfect for teens!

This is a really amazing book. It captures so many emotions and I can really relate to Ronnie. The whole story is brilliant.

Good job, Miley Cyrus, for bringing "Last Song" to the big screen.

3 Just Listen - Sarah Dessen Just Listen - Sarah Dessen Product Image

This is just such a deep book. We try so hard to be perfect, many times for someone else's sake, though we might be miserable the whole time. The characters, the ideas this book puts in your head, just everything about this book is right on. Amazing. Changed how I think and in a good way.

This is just such a good book. The oh-so-perfect child isn't really that perfect at all, and this is another book about how everything isn't what it seems. It's sad, but amazing.

Sarah Dessen is an amazing author I am going to read all of her books another good one is dreamland

My all-time favourite novel. This has made me just LOVE Sarah Dessen.

4 The Princess Diaries - Meg Cabot The Princess Diaries - Meg Cabot Product Image

This series is just so funny and relevant. Even though hardly anyone is a princess like Mia, her problems are very real, and the diary format makes it very enjoyable to read.

I love this book series SO MUCH! These books should be first because Meg Cabot is the best author EVER!

I love it, it's such a relatable book. I suggest this song to all the teenage girls.

The book is so very funny but says about the issues of teenagers

5 Twilight - Stephenie Meyer Twilight - Stephenie Meyer Product Image

To be honest I haven't read the book yet. But I have seen all the movies and when I saw the first one, I immediately fell in love. Something about them just makes your heart race, not in a scary way but because everything in the movie is so interesting, you just can't wait to figure out what happens next. I wish that they would make more twilight books/movies because I think if they kept going on with Renesmee's life story and how her and Jacob became a thing, I honestly think that would have been so interesting. I'm not saying that the ones that they made now weren't interesting because trust me they are seriously one of the best series I have ever came upon. A little about the whole series: Bella moved down to Forks because she felt her mom would be more happy (not going to spoil the reason why). On Bella's first day at school she had to sit next to Edward in one of her classes. At first Edward wouldn't talk to her because he wanted her blood so badly, but a few days later he ...more

Twilight is a lighter read than most of the books here. It made it to the top 10 becaust it's very, very popular with teenage girls. It does manage to get teens excited about reading and that's an accomplishment in it's own right. Twilight is about a young girl named Bella who moves to a town called Forks and finds herself in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen. Edward isn't a traditional vampire, he feeds on animal blood and when sunlight hits him he sparkles. A vampire who doesn't abstain from human blood takes and interest in Bella and Edward has to save her.

Few of them says this novel is a gig. But believe me this the best book I have ever read in my life; espically Breaking Dawn. You should really read this. IT'S AWESOME!

The book is way better than the movie! I found the movie utterly boring.. But the the book is quite interesting..

6 The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins Product Image

This is such a good book I cannot put into words how good this book is the movie is awesome but the book is 100 times better I recommend this to anyone who likes to read stories that keep you on edge throughout the whole book I absolutley love this amazing novel! A great read and the second and third books are amazing as well

This books are the perfect combination of action, suspense, mystery, drama, and love.. That's what makes them SO ADDICTIVE... The writing and the history are awesome so everything together makes them GREAT books.

Best book ever! This book has everything plot, love, drama, suspense, and it teaches you about something that no other book can. When reading this I fell in love with the characters in this story.

I hate violence but my mom forced me to read it. I thought I would hate it but I loved it. I loved Divergent but this was better.

7 The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants - Ann Brashares The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants - Ann Brashares Product Image

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a 4 part series. To the right we have a link to the box set and one to the first book, in the series.
The Sisterhood books are a bench mark for all teen coming of age stories. In the first one the girls are 15. The writer gives her characters the problems and sensibilities of 15 year old girls. In many books about the same subject, girls are far wiser than teenage girls in fact are. In the book the girls are each experiencing different challenges and aspects of their personalities. The characters do not remain flat, they develop through their experiences and decisions. I would recommend these books for all teenage girls.

Its an interesting movie about for friends who had magic pant, and travel or seperate but wher e sending the pants to each other

8 The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks Product Image

How life changes you, how people change, and how nothing turns out how you'd think.

9 Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen Product Image

Arguably the greatest of Jane Austen's masterpieces Pride and Prejudice is a sharp and witty comedy set in 19th century English society. It is a very different world to the one we know, but there is still a lot you can take away from the book. At it's core Pride and Prejudice is about how men and women fail and succeed in love and society.

Stunning and well-interpreted. I love this book and always find it satisfying to read. Makes you believe in true love.

I preferred the troll version, pride and prejudice and zombies.

10 Paper Towns - John Green Paper Towns - John Green Product Image

This book can't be explained, the story sounds pretty simple but there's so much more than that, the way the main character's view on things are pictured, the dialogues, the characters themselves.. Everything about this book is wonderful. You HAVE to read it.

This is the first book which I have read a second time because it's just so good-the friendship between everyone especially Q and Margo,it's indescribable!

This book was perfect. The characters were vivid, the plot was intriguing and I couldn't put it down!

Such an amazing book. I can't describe it, you just have to trust me, and read it.

The Contenders
11 Along for the Ride - Sarah Dessen Along for the Ride - Sarah Dessen Product Image

Another amazing Sarah Dessen book. The relationships between the reader and the main character are so established, you feel everything with her, and root for her and her friends so much. It's really great.

Such a good story. I loved it. Thumbs up

12 The Boy Next Door - Meg Cabot The Boy Next Door - Meg Cabot Product Image

Most of Meg Cabot's books are written for teenagers and she has become very good at writing for them.
This screwball comedy was written for slightly older teens. The heroine Mell Fuller is a fun, interesting and strong but not perfect. The novel is written in the format of emails. At first I was skeptical about the choice, but Meg Cabot has made it work.

13 The Truth About Forever - Sarah Dessen The Truth About Forever - Sarah Dessen Product Image

This book is by Sarah Dessen a notable author of stories for teenage girls. Her genius lies in taking a simple story line and bringing it to life with interesting characters.
The Truth About Forever is about sixteen-year-old Macy, who's father recently died. Her mother, who is dealing with her own pain, shuts Macy out. To hide her problems Macy tries to live a perfect life. The characters and events in her life teach her that seeking perfection isn't the answer.

Fantastic book. Totally relatable and not one moment during the time I was reading it was I not totally satisfied and overwhelmingly happy. I felt a connection to the characters that goes beyond the imagination. Truly amazing.

So cute, so real. SO RELATABLE. For any teenage girl who understands having controlling parents and struggles with figuring out what you want.

14 The Fault In Our Stars - John Green The Fault In Our Stars - John Green Product Image

My favorite book by John Green. Teaches you about the nature of love, life and loss. Perfectly written. Just love how he describes the characters, how he makes me laugh my lungs out at one page and at the next page makes my eyes rain like heavy clouds. And as the teen girl I am, I have to say I love the romantic aspect of the book. Watched the movie too, was a big disappointment. Read the book, even though the first pages are not really that good, but I promise you, you will love it!

He fault in pur stars is the best book ever! John Green I love you and hate U. you killed Augustus Waters! He deserved to live! You could of killed off Isaac nobody really cares about him

Before that age they are called: The Uglies. Our heroine is turning 16 and she has doubts about undergoing the procedure. She explores the effects of the procedure to a person's body and mind.
