The Contenders: Page 11
The Bible is nothing more than a religious version of Heat Magazine.
"I don't smoke but I always travel with a zippo lighter in case I have to light a beautiful woman's cigarette or the wick of molotov's cocktail."
one of the greatest espionage novels ever written.
you see two things happening every now and then, there is a echo of correspondence.
he wants you to be a spy too, and put together the little pieces of evidence until you reach a conclusion, it's a book that completely transcends its genre and shows how a writer who has enough talent can achieve success in any medium. - Ananya
Oh my gods! Percy rocks!
It's the story of a soldier spending many years on a journey to reunite with his wife Penelope, Queen of Ithaca. If he doesn't find his way back to Ithaca soon, Penelope must marry another suitor. As Odysseus finds his way back to Ithaca, fighting the weather, the people, and the temptation, he races against time to stay with his wife, and meet his now adult son, Prince Telemachus of Ithaca.
All the Land of Stories books always end with a cliff hanger. No offense but I think no other author has a great mind and thinks like Chris Colfer. It is a shame that the diary of a wimpy kid books top this one.
The third book ended with such a cliffhanger. I mean, the last line probably surprised me more than any other line and left me wanting to know instantly. Awesome book series. Deserves so much higher.
Best book series of all time! The character are so fun and relatable and the writing is so well thought out! I can't wait for the movies to come out!
THIS BOOK SHOULD BE HIGHER THAN DIARY OF A WIMPY KID. THESE BOOKS ARE SOOO GOOD AND END WITH CLIFF HANGERS TO KEEP YOU READING.V 1 Comment
Very Intense and helps explain a historic time period in a non boring way
This is one of the most amazing books ever... How come it is not in the list?
A Masterpiece, the first time I shed a tear while reading a book... so need to complement it, it speaks for itself...
Seeing its ranking makes me question my own sanity, but of course, idiots... - AnanyaV 3 Comments
Definitely worth reading just to get a better perspective on romanticism and gothic horror. It's short and plainly written, though a bit boring in parts. - airbb
It, s a moderate book. It's not so horrifying. So in my opinion a good one time read. Definitely don't go for it if you are looking for something extra.
I love the book series. And the best one was Sir-Stinks A-lot
Who needs Tolstoy and Captain Underpants when you have Sweet Valley High and several different books for girls to read (e.g. Pop Princess, Monster High, Ever After High, Generation Girl, Girl Talk, The Pact of the Wolves, The Cheetah Girls, Perfectly Princess, Jane Austen's Emma, Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility, Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice, The Clique, Gossip Girl and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist)? - kristyrosepetal4
Seriously Dav Pilkey is the worst writer ever. But still like it and I read it. But his grammar though, "you're not suppose to make comics, didn't you read chapter 1," and it said "The dead booger boy reached all the way to the next page." And he's the worst speller, and he thinks George and Harold are real characters, and they made the comics. But he made the comics, and he's the worst comic writer ever.
I. HATE. THESE. BOOKS.
Compared to Wonder and the Harry Potter books, These books are pure rubbish.
This book is truly a masterpiece.. and the best book I've ever read. It is clear from this book that Dan Brown has put in lot of brains and efforts. I seriously don't understand why this is so low.
the greatest book I'v ever read. Dan Brown has writtin a masterpiece. should be number one.
Wow, I've recently read this book and it was so amazing, it became my favorite book instantly. I wasn't expecting to see it on this list! There are so much haters of this book which is very sad...
It's so much better than the Bible (which I don't believe in). This is my NUMBER ONE!
Dan Brown is a marginally talented author at best. He writes thinly veiled pablum designed to appeal to the most broad audience possible. The the Vinci Code is the best example of this. - Jdub2119
A masterpiece by Dan Brown - ZabV 6 Comments
