The Contenders: Page 11

201 Oh, the Places You'll Go! - Dr. Seuss

I have read this book probably more than I have read the Bible (I'm not proud, ok? ). But is that wrong? - JustAnAccount

202 Last Vampire - Christopher Pike
203 Crusher - Niall Leonard
204 Forever - Judy Blume
205 Because of Mr. Terupt - Rob Buyea

Not bad, not bad at all. - JustAnAccount

Wow! this low! I love this book! It deserves at least 75

206 The Trials of Apollo - Rick Riordan
207 Wings of Fire - Tui T. Sutherland

HOW IS THIS SO LOW?! This is one of he best book series I have ever read. The characters were all unique with great plot twists and cliffhangers. Everything was described beautifully and in great detail. Tsunami and Glory are some of my favourite characters in books ever. Tsunami was bossy, strong and brave. Glory was sarcastic and never failed to put a smile on my face. One of my favourite quotes was made by Glory. "You'd be crazy not to be- well, crazy or Tsunami, which is basically the same thing."

The best book ever way better than the hunger games or all those other rubbish books

This is insanely good, I don't see how it's ranked 212th.

208 The Magic Faraway Tree - Enid Blyton
209 The Titan's Curse - Rick Riordan
210 Freak the Mighty

A beautiful story of friendship that perfectly portrays that childlike wonder and imagination that we all forget. Far too overlooked. - PewPewAssassin

Love this book <3 Read it at school. - Popsicles

211 The Tale of Despereaux - Kate DiCamillo

About a cute little mousey that goes "squeak squeak" and a princess that says "OMG THERES A PEA UNDER MY MATTRESS" and a rat that goes "honk honk" and a girl whose ears are like cabbages. - cherrypage33

212 How the Grinch Stole Christmas - Dr. Seuss

I love the animated version!

Love this Christmas story

213 The War of the Worlds - H.G. Wells

This is without a doubt one of the most insightful science fiction books ever written. It predicted a lot of what would happen in the World Wars and has a totally unexpected ending. It really is our WORLD against theirs. - Knucklewood

214 The House of the Scorpion - Nancy Farmer
215 Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy - John LeCarre

The Bible is nothing more than a religious version of Heat Magazine.

"I don't smoke but I always travel with a zippo lighter in case I have to light a beautiful woman's cigarette or the wick of molotov's cocktail."

one of the greatest espionage novels ever written.
you see two things happening every now and then, there is a echo of correspondence.
he wants you to be a spy too, and put together the little pieces of evidence until you reach a conclusion, it's a book that completely transcends its genre and shows how a writer who has enough talent can achieve success in any medium. - Ananya

216 The Son of Neptune - Rick Riordan

Oh my gods! Percy rocks!

217 The Trial - Franz Kafka
218 White Cat - Holly Black
219 Run With the Wind
220 Batman: Hush - Jeph Loeb
