EastEnders is a British soap opera; the first episode was broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 19 February 1985. EastEnders storylines examine the domestic and professional lives of the people who live and work in the fictional London Borough of Walford in the East End of London. I've grown up watching EastEnders, as a girl with my family and now as a woman. Recently, though, Hollyoaks as grabbed my attention. It's a bit like how some would view a marriage: EastEnders is the husband: Ageing, safe, comfortable, sometimes a bit dull, but a comfort blanket of a man.
Hollyoaks is the "other man" is younger, faster and more exciting; fun to be around. BUT...while I like Hollyoaks, I LOVE EastEnders: my safe, ageing, sometimes dull but lovely warm comfort blanket which I can't give up to anything else.
I really think that Billy Mitchell and Jay would make an excellent Del Boy and Rodney, should anyone decide to revamp Only Fools and Horses? They even look a little like them, I think. And they have the same comedic value as Del Boy and Rodney.

The programme centres on Coronation Street in Weatherfield, a fictional town based on inner-city Salford. The best show ever! I used to watch it when I lived in Italy, you can ge this show anywhere.
