Best Buckethead SongsCounting down the greatest songs from the master shredder.
The Top Ten
So sick... continue to be blown away by the fact that vocals are made unnecessary by this guy. Some moving, thrashing, electrifying stuff!
I asked Santa to give me Buckethead's hands 'cause I was jealous of him. Instead, on Christmas, I got a CD of his greatest hits. I asked santa, why? Santa replied, I can't give you god's hands. I am happy with the CD's now!
2) Final Wars
5) Nottingham Lace
BUCKETHEAD YOU ROCK!
Just wondering, shouldn't this be a list with buckethead solo songs, instead of "We are one" or "the ballad of buckethead? And Soothsayer is in my opinion his best song. I like all his songs though(at least the ones I've heard(He has over 500 solo songs, I don't think I'm even close to all yet)) my personal list would look like:
2. Too Many Humans
3. Final Wars
4. Escape from Inbred Mountain
6. Welcome to Bucketheadland
7. Frozen Brains Tell No Tales
8. I Love My Parents
9. She Sell Sea Shells by the Slaughterhouse
10. Nottingham Lace
No need to say anything about this one. simply the best guitar music ever!V 27 Comments
Simply the best solo in this world played by the greatest guitarist alive. I just love this song!
The intro is class apart but the whole song is great...
The solos in the end are breath taking!
Has to be the best song!
The solos are just too amazing in this songs! Although Soothsayer is an incredible song, Nottingham lace is both emotional and electrifying. Simply Buckethead's best in my opinion!
An incredible solo!V 19 Comments
this was the first song I heard by him. automatic instant fan. I consider myself to be a huge fan of guitar players. and this guy is the most unique by far. in my humble opion... he is simply the best I've ever heard. and I always had jimmy page, and eddie van halen, at the top of my list. but this guy is the best... hands down.
When I play this on my itunes I feel like all my problems are forgotten, when it ends, they all come back to me. I remember when I was twelve I used to listen to this song before bed, it was my lullaby. I pity those people who can't appreciate Buckethead's music.
The studio version is a little boring, but his live performances are the most amazing performances I've ever heard, it's so beautiful and deep. Pure badassness, his absolute best piece.
My first song of Buckethead... Never gets old!V 1 Comment
Hasn't nobody heard this song? Shame on them, this song is so sick with a sexy solo and was played for Guitar Hero II. I became a crazy Buckethead fan after hearing this sick baby! - BehindHappiness
The first song I ever heard from Buckethead. My friend asked me to go to a concert and I just said alrighty. Thought it would have been fine enough, but holy moly. He played this song and I just lost it. He. Is. The. Bomb.
Jordan's a great song but the other two above it too deserve to be there love this song makes me super excited
This song is the greatest! ALL HAIL BUCKETHEADV 3 Comments
This song is really wonderful. I am totally cool with Soothsayer being number 1. But this song deserves the number 2 place most definitely. It lifts up my soul every time I hear it. It's so beautiful that it will get to your heart and make it wet. I listen to this song every night when I sleep. So relaxing and soothing.
I am feelin so strange y a so powerful song with a terrifying degree of power in its silence progression is so low on charts should be placed much above friends!
For me Padmasana I the most emotional song.. Try to listen to this song.. Even you are happy.. It will almost makes you cry
My personal favorite Buckethead song...the melodic-ness in this song is beyond describable...V 5 Comments
It just simply starts of with this bad ass metal-riff that makes me want to pick the guitar and play along! And off-course the solos are tremendously epic!
Amazing song best guitar solo ever made!
Probably his most influential song... - ch153
Buckethead top 10:- 1. Soothsayer 2. Nottingham lace 3. Seige engine 4. Welcome to bucketheadlandheadland 5. Jordan 6. Lebron 7. Unrestrained growth 8. Asylum of glass 9. Golden eyes 10. Machete
SHOULD BE AT NO 3
Why did I just discover this guy! I'm almost 50 years old...was my head in a sand hole all this time!?! lol
Just seen him in Detroit at the majestic... he played Siege Engine and I loved it, hadn't heard it before... don't know why... but it's now my favorite and I got Albino Slug on order.
This song is a bit like Soothsayer and it's just as emotional as Soothsayer. One of my favorite parts is at the beginning of the solo where he bends a bit more emotionally than he does in Soothsayer. - Gigan
The two contrasting guitars following a constant melody are sure to blow the mind of all those who listen to this song.
One of the most breathtaking pieces of music ever.V 2 Comments
When I 1st time heard this song I almost repeated this song 70 times, just awesome, BUCKETHEAD at his best. Its 2nd best solo after soothsayer by buckethead. According to me 1. Soothsayer 2. King james 3. Siege Engine. - arijit-hellseekerdas
One of the best songs I have ever heard in my entire life. When it comes to CSS I know most people choose Soothsayer as the best song on the record, but personally I think this one is better (althought Soothsayer is an epic song as well). It's like all of Buckethead's best features packed into one, with both heavyness and slowness, emotion and just plain jamming, etc. Absolutely amazing work by Buckethead m/
This is his best song (or at least my favorite one). Everyone thinks that soothsayer is his best song but this one is WAY BETTER than soothsayer. You should really listen to it when you get the chance to. It's my favorite song off of my favorite album by him called: A Real Diamond In The Rough. - siege
One of his best songs, under his secondary alias, Death Cube K. Truly an emotion-capturing piece.
You can definitely see Paul Gilbert's teaching in this. This and The Echo Song are very similar, and are both awesome. A bit more length on it would be great.
This is the best instrumental everV 1 Comment
A follow up to the ever popular "Soothsayer". Again this is dedicated to his aunt Suzie on the account of her death. I don't play the guitar but every time I listen to Bucket's songs like this I wish I did.
One of the best slow paced track by buckethead... It's a shame that it lies on 19th position
Some amazing guitar work here (as always). Great follow up to what is currently number 1 on this list. - IronSabbathPriest
Better than padmasana and Jordan
This is my favorite Buckethead song. This may be weird to many of you, but I don't cR. It sounds very mysterious through the middle, and it gets heavy from time to time as well. But it's all tied together by a soothing and catchy riff.
22!? What! Pepper's ghost is simply amazing, beautiful, dark, misterious and full of energy! It's a shame it's too underrated, it should be at least top 5 in my opinion!
The best Buckethead track out there for me. When my friends hear "buckethead" or see his picture they instantly decide his music is not for them. They come to the conclusion that his music will just be some heavy, head banging, black metal which is just loud sounds and that the only reason some people listen to him is because it seen as "cool". They can't be farther from the truth. Bucket is so diverse in his music that he can play a hard thrashing track about slaughterhouses, blood and gore and the next minute he'll play the most beautiful melodious music you will ever hear. Inferno shows his range and surprises most of my friends since I start them off with a few fast songs then unleash Inferno and Whitewash on them. They are amazed and naturally a few have already become fans. The way the guitar solo tells a story and meshes with the bass is heavenly. As the lead guitar takes you through the stages and climax of the story the bass has an almost subconscious ...more
My favorite Buckethead song. The raw, deep emotion in this song really gets me every time.
This, Whitewash, Dawn Appears, and pretty much everything on Electric Tears and Colma is all you need to see that Buckethead is one of the best musicians of all time.
It's a shame Buckethead fans don't know about this hidden gem.
Starts with a catchy riff which has this awesome sound because of the one C#m chord which is the only minor chord in that riff (which gives it an awesome feeling), not to mention the awesome melodies in it.
Second riff is awesome as well and with the breakdown after it, it's just perfect!
The fast part that starts the solo fits well there. Solo has kinda like three parts: first is a happy-groovy solo, then some heavy shredding and finally emotional finish with smooth transition to the first riff!
It has the antics of a child. Remember your first bicycle ride, that's what it feels like.
Definitely his best song! Heck, even one of my all-time favourite songs in the world! All the notes are just spot on, I recommend this to all of you who haven't heard it yet!
Its one of the simple solo which attracts my attention good oneV 1 Comment
Greatest Buckethead song for sure. All of his emotion pours out onto this, and I'm sure Michael would be proud. One of the greatest instrumental pieces, if not compositions, of all time.
