Courage the Cowardly Dog
Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American animated horror comedy television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network as part of the network's Cartoon Cartoons block.
Boi, this was and always will be my favorite show. It teaches you so many values of life. Don't talk to strangers, you're not perfect, nor is anybody else. The last big lesson was it's okay to be scared, as long as you have the courage to face that fear and overcome it. I truly learned important life factors from this show but yet it still captured the comical side of things through a scared pink beagle and his elderly farm house owners. Hopefully someday, this show might get a reboot that I've always wanted. Long live Courage.
This cartoon is amazing! It is scary as heck, but I learned wonderful life lessons through it. Like, true bravery doesn't come from being un afraid, it comes from taking action to do the right thing, even if you have to face your fears like Courage did to save Muriel. And the episode "Perfect" quote from the talking fish is just beautiful! Yes, best cartoon ever!
How do I put this? Oh, I got it. Three words: Stupidest. Show. Ever. When I first saw it I thought: "It's about a dog, how bad could it be? ", but when I saw it, I almost died. The show is horrible. It literally makes fun of every creature it brings into the show! Even Courage is an ugly disgrace to a dog. He looks so dumb when he screams at the top of his lungs. Plus, the bad guys are SO stupid. People keep saying "Oh, Courage The Cowardly Dog is a real mysterious and scary show! " But I say "I wasn't scared AT ALL in this show, and I can get scared very easily." This show is awful, but that's just my opinion, so don't go cursing me because you were the one who decided to read this comment anyway. - Murrkip
Courage the Cowardly Dog is by far the best cartoon to ever exist. I know that my opinion is bold and will possibly be negatively criticised but this cartoon has something that most cartoons these days lack. It has atmosphere.
John R Dilworth really pushed the bounds with this show. Come on, anyone who remembers this show has memories of them having nightmares about this show if they were in the 5-10 age range. And the funniest thing is, Cartoon Network gave no backlash to the show's creators. That's how episodes like the mask were made. And you know how they did this? They combined the horror aspects with action and humor. On paper, this sounds stupid, but they pulled it off. And it was amazing. Here is a top 5 list of the best episodes in my opinion. (5 The mask) (4 The night of the scarecrow) (3 King Ramses curse) (2 Remebrance of courage past) (1 Evil weevil)
This show is amazing this is practically my childhood show its scary feeling and emotional feels are amazing about this show this is the best show on Cartoon Network.
Watch when baked.. So crazy you won't know what's going on. I was at a friends and we watched one episode like 3 times in a row without realizing laugh out loud. There are some good episodes man.
In case you're unaware, here it is.
Courage is, well, a dog, who lives in the middle of nowhere, with his owners. But, curses, or voodoo spirits or aliens or SOMETHING are there waiting to attack these oblivious people, and Courage is ready to try and "do" that. Yep. Nothing too unoriginal at all - Jonstro
I can't believe I used to not like this show that much as a kid. Courage the Cowardly Dog is actually such a well-written cartoon in the horror comedy genre that will you have you scared, laughing, crying, all those incredible emotions that you get from watching a good show. Ed, Edd n Eddy is still my number 1 favorite Cartoon Network show, but Courage the Cowardly Dog is also one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows as well. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
This show was great there even though sometimes the plot repeated it was always a great show and had me on my toes but sadly it only airs on boomerang but I have boomerang so yeah it's all good :) lol
Courage is just so great! Who can dislike a dog who always protects his family!? Plus, the writing and story was equally great. The series finale made me tear up. A great and sad way to end a great show.
Who doesn't like this show! One of the most creepiest Cartoons ever especially that you're not perfect monster! This shows awesome though - JellyBean2000
Courage the cowardly dog is awesome! It's my favorite show but it makes me mad that they stopped playing it! I want the full series for my birthday! Cool website!
I love this show I was born in 2005 and it is so cool that I'm going to watch it when I'm older. It's funny always has been funny and always will be funny
I always loved how Courage was terrified of everything, but was brave enough to save Muriel from any and all dangers. Way to overcome fear!
This show can make you laugh, can make you sad, can make you scared and many episodes had a hidden message about the flaws that humanity has. It is the best one in my opinion.
It made me laugh, it made me cry, it scared me, and it made my day better. I love Courage. This show and Ed Edd n Eddy will forever rerun in my heart.
So I haven't watched this show in 2 years. I go on, find it, shocked that it's still running (cartoons usually don't run that long) and watch it. It's so amazing. Yay courage!
Why is this Number 4? It has great humour, good characters, great plots, and it NEVER talks down to its audience. It is creepy yet funny, and Courage is awesome.
It's one of the creepiest things I've ever watched, but that's why I like it so much! Original, funny, and just so awesome! - Wannabeguy5
This show has all the qualities all the shows need, sadness, hilarious, and anger. So sad that is has ended
One of my teachers, Mrs. Webster and two of my classmates, Seth and Dominic like this show, and I like it too.
Unlike most T.V. shows this show has a story that makes it good like how in every episode it gets more intense like King Ramses Curse with 3 plagues worse after the one before. It's pretty funny too also very creative with the villains and all it's number 1
Try watching it now and you'll realize it's kinda creepy, but hell who cares. This show is AWESOME
Of all time, I enjoyed the horror-driven cartoon Courage the Cowardly Dog a lot as a kid and I still do as an adult. The show had a lot of scary moments, some funny moments, and interesting stories. - truespongebobfan
