Best Christian Rock Bands

The Contenders: Page 11

201 Mumford & Sons Mumford & Sons Mumford & Sons are a British rock band from London, formed in 2007. The band consists of Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall and Ted Dwane.

I find it extremely funny that someone can say, "Yeah, they're good, but not really Christian." Who are YOU to say that? "Judge not..." I find their music VERY faith oriented - and very apropos to the faithful and the challenges of being a fallen human in the modern world. Simply because they don't insert the word "Jesus" into every third word in their songs doesn't make them less of a faith band (The bands who do - and there are many on this list - are VERY tiresome! I believe the Lord is intelligent enough to KNOW we are singing about our faith in Him without having to say His Name twice in every verse..."Those with ears to hear..."

Pretty awesome grunge rock bad. Reminds me of RED. They should be top 25 for sure. They are awesome if you know what I mean. They're isn't really another band quite like them.

213 Silversyde

Great up-and-coming band. Kind of similar to Fireflight.

Incredible punk/grungish sound. One of my favorites - and a nice shout out to C. S. Lewis in their name.

218 David Crowder Band

Incredible! I can't believe Crowder is at 0%! His "A Collision" is a Masterful Thematic recording and straight up worship rock that would easily appeal to the secular crowd as well. I'm sorry, but some of my voting brothers and sisters must be tone deaf or ignorant of David Crowder. Truly inspiring without being preachy. If you fall into the ignorant category, give "A collision" a listen - you will be deeply touched! (Unless you are a Heavy Metal fan - in that case disregard all of the preceding.)

What? Classic - is this voting system under a rock? Crowder is a top 5 pick! - listen to his music!

Inspirational Incredible Powerful Deep!
