The Twelve Days of Reviewmas: Day 9: The Beach Boys and Elvis's Christmas Albums.

Welcome to Day 9 on the Twelve Days of Reviewmas. In today's post i will be reviewing 2 Christmas albums one by Elvis Presley and one by The Beach Boys. I'm going to start off with Elvis's album so let get on to his album.

Elvis' Christmas Album is the 4th studio album by Elvis Presley and his first Christmas album. It was released on October 15th, 1957. According to the latest certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America, Elvis' Christmas Album has shipped at least 13 million copies in the United States (3 million of the original 1957 RCA Victor release, plus 10 million total copies of a "budget" edition first issued on RCA Camden in 1970 and then leased to Pickwick Records in 1975). It is the first Presley title to attain Diamond certification by the RIAA, and is also the best-selling Christmas album of all time in the United States. The album has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.

Now with the information out of the way let's get on to the album.

Track 1: Santa Claus is Back in Town.

This song was covered on the We Wish You a Metal Xmas album and while i think the cover is better the original is still a very good song.
Rating 10/10

Track 2: White Christmas

I prefer Twisted Sisters version of this song this isn't bad but its just boring for me.
Rating 8/10

Track 3: Here Comes Santa Claus

I prefer the original version by Gene Autry this version is good but its not as good as the original.

This is a good version of this song it's a fine version of the song but not my favorite from this album.

Track 5: Blue Christmas

Here is my favorite song from this album and in my opinion one of the best Christmas songs, it's a nice R&B song and the vocals here are some of the best Elvis has done.

Track 8: Silent Night

And yet again another not bad but just boring version of a Christmas song.
Rating 8/10

Track 9: (There'll Be) Peace in the Valley (For Me)

I don't think the rest of the songs from this album will be as good as the ones from the first half of the album and this song is another boring one at least for me.
Rating 8/10

Track 10: I Believe

i'm not a big fan of a albums with a lot of slow songs this song is a cover of the first ever hit song that was introduced on Tv but this version is boring.
