O Holy Night
This song moves me incredibly. The music is incredible, and so is the tune. I love playing it on the piano. I also love all the classics and some modern ones like Chestnuts roasting on an open fire and White Christmas. But does anybody know what "Do they know its Christmas" even means? It probably insults about a million people-including me. It is a catchy tune, though.
I love this song cause it's the best time of the year - valetine
I personally prefer Josh's nice and deep bass, sufficient high notes, and slight accent. I feel that his version is better, though I may simply be biased towards male singers. But this is better than any of the songs above.
Listen to the sweet version done by Jackie Evancho.
Jackie Evancho's version is by far the most beautiful I have ever heard.
Jackie Evancho has a stunningly beautiful voice & an absolutely other-worldly ability to convey emotion. Nobody brings people to tears like Jackie. She sings the best version(s) of O Holy Night.
Please listen to Jackies latest recording; O Holy Night, on her double Awakening album from Wal-Mart.
"Wow! Incredible. Incredible! "
Jackie's version is the best ever.
Many have sung this song so well that it's impossible to claim someone's rendition is "the best". All one can do is decide on a personal Favorite. - Billyv
Love the Jackie Evancho version!
Jackie Evancho's version of this sets a new standard.
I love Jackie Evancho's version of this.
This one belongs at #1. Best song, best message... my favorite... especially when my daughter sings it every year at our Christmas Eve service.
Jackie Evancho has the most beautiful singing voice in the world. But it's her ability to convey emotion that really sets her apart.
Love Jackie's version of this timeless standard.
The version done by Jackie Evancho is by far the best I have ever heard.
Listen to David Phelps, it is INCREDIBLE and will change your view about the song forever.
I highly recommend the Mariah Carey and Josh Groban covers. They both do a spectacular job of covering the song, but I do prefer the latter.
None better for a true Christmas carol
Simply the most beautiful singing voice in the world.
I wanted to vote for this as my favorite Christmas song but hesitated when I saw all the "Jackie Evancho" praise contained here. She's ok, but I've heard many versions I prefer. My vote is for the song - not the singer - which I felt was the intent of this list - Billyv
As seen at the National Christmas Tree Lighting! - BobG
On Jackie Evancho's album "Heavenly Christmas".
Great words. Great tune. Simply put. Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
Her version of O Holy Night with Sir James Galloway and a backing 200 voice choir remains one of my favorite Christmas performances of all time.
