Best Command and Conquer GamesWhat are the best C&C games? Tiberium versus Red Alert?
The Top Ten
Glad to see good sense prevails in the number of people voting for this masterpiece. It has great gameplay and well designed scenarios, both sides fun to play, great sense of humor, a lot of beautiful and sexy ladies. RA3 was OK, but not nearly as memorable. I need to dust RA2 off and play it again.
Of course it's amazing because it's a WestWood game, and all of their games are amazing, I think that after WestWood died in 2010, the C&C games died with it... - thexfiles123
I think I started playing games because of this game. I really damn Loved it. I think I played it continuously for 10 years since it's release. An I was waiting for a really damn awesome sequel for this game. But RA3 Was not what I was waiting for. RA2 had better gameplay and units, better story and everything to the limit. I was wondering If they would ever do an anniversary remake of this game in Future. Maybe for RA 1
Red Alert 2 is a timeless, fun, and amazing game. It is one of the last games from Westwood, so it has that classic CnC feel to it. Even in an official competition on Command & Conquer's website, it won (beating Zero Hour by 1 vote).
This is the best RTS and C&C game out there, I love everything it stands for, it's battles/campaign are just... Incredible. - thexfiles123
A special type of c&c that has many dedicated fans! Real time warfare and realistic game play makes this one of the best real time strategy games ever made.
This game man, this game. I had the most fun with this C&C than I did with the others. There's just a certain charm about it, perhaps something to do with building 20 scud storm missile silos... My personal favourite in the series.
By far the best Command & Conquer game I've ever played in all of my existence. There is a fair amount of difficulty with mostly smart AI. The scenarios are real-time. Etc. Etc.
Zero hour was by far the best for me, awesome game play and better graphics make this number 1 in the series
I'm putting this expansion on the list because it is like a standalone game! Better graphics, new missions, units, medals, maps, mechanics, EVERYTHING is new! - thexfiles123
Mega awesome game-good graphics, cool music and more easy on not so hardcore players
Game had the best online competition scene and was well developed. Despite the fact it has no real storyline/base like other CNC games, ZH delivers intense online play.
After growing up playing the first Command and Conquer game, I decided to take another look at the franchise later on, so I bought the Ultimate collection which includes all the games, and this one by far reminded me the most of the original Command and Conquer, much more than Tiberian Sun, since that game was a little too post-apocalyptic for me. I enjoy the fast paced gameplay, the story, and the great vehicles, especially in the expansion pack, Kane's Wrath, and most of all the more classic style Mammoth tank, and not a Walker based on the name "mammoth". Unfortunately though this games soundtrack is extremely lackluster, so I end up playing old command and conquer music in the background to make up for it. After that I think my favorite would be Red alert, then the second Red Alert.
This is the second best C&C game, I play it every day, literally.. I even take it to school on my laptop and play it when we have gym I love this game, but Generals beats it because of the environmental damage Generals has ( If you place your tanks on train tracks, they will all get run over by tanks, a nuclear power plant can kill all your infantry, etc... ). - thexfiles123
Ok I do get the love for the old... But still there is lots of new to the idea "how a RTS should look and play like. For me personally this is C&C with best campaign, visuals, overall atmosphere. What else - this game felt like the C&C with most attention to details. About the gameplay I believe that modern A game are more serious and need to appeal mostly with being good (or great) on every aspect. The most complete game by this definition is definitely C&C TW
Not too complicated, nice graphics.
This is the last standlone game on the list, the other 2 will be expansion packs, but I don't think this game fits with the title at all, it's an FPS/Third Person game and... I don't know how they managed to call it a C&C game. - thexfiles123
I like this one the most, did you know there is a new version? Renegade X! :D
While this may have been different from the usual C&C style games, I still had tons of fun playing this game, and I really enjoyed the MC. Dang it Havoc!
The ever changing terrain and the deployable units made this game fantastic. I loved it how you had to land your air units because of an oncoming ion storm or the monster - all - eating red veins would approach your base and kill everything in their way. Ice cracking when heavy units drove over etc... Amazing game for it's time!
Just great. Probably one of the best games to be created in the late 90's/early 00's. Overall amazing. The only annoying thing is the destructible terrain.
This game is Great. For it time and what they had to work with the made a pretty amazing game that kept me playing every day.
LOVE IT! Such a great story line. I hope that they go back to this soon. Their new games are just tanking in my opinion. DOWN WITH MMORPG!
Kane's Wrath gets new units and also added sub-factions. It is the best game that I have ever seen
Just so fun to play wet the redeemer
I LOVE THIS GAME! Me and my friends love it :) and I like Kane
I liked the tiberium Series and Red Alert series. The best Tibirium game is definitely CNC3 with Kanes Wrath DLC. Tiberium Sun and Firestrorm DLC was good back in the day. Red Alert 2 was one of the best Command and Conquers ever made but Red Alert 3 the graphics, physics and factions and story, harvesting etc etc where all a joke. CnC3 or Kanes Wrath for the Win!
This is the game where they should have kept all the formatting and built of of it. if they could have made this game new like Star craft 2 it would be alive today. as they continued the franchise they destroyed all of the graphics when they had it perfect the way it was. people hate change! So keep it the same but add new stuff! So if anyone ever makes a game like this again and reads this post and uses what I said could easily beat any new ps4 Xbox1 garbage out there! People like this style and will always have a love for the games like this exact one
I had never played this type of game when I was a kid, used to just play Need for speed and stuff until my friend told me to try it, and I loved it! Can not stop playing for quite a while, love this game, after school I would just come straight home to play this game until its real late at night. I played the whole campaign over and over.
I have played many command and conquer but this the best that I have ever played and it is very easy to play
This is also a great expansion pack, much like Zero Hour it provides all the improvements of graphics, maps, singleplayer, multiplayer, units and much more! - thexfiles123
Pure pure nostalgia and amazing graphics and gameplay. Compelling story and also my first entry into the command and conquer series. My second being tiberium twilight 4( which I don't think it was that bad please don't hate me).
- Good graphics
- Nice campaign stories
- Interesting units and characters
- Enjoyable game play
Probably the best of the previous Red Alert games.
It has the most interesting campaign out of all of the games on the list, it's fun/addictive and it's just plain amazing. - thexfiles123
You must play this game, it's impressive and cool graphics. I've play this everyday. Please vote for this and play.
Fixes the balancing issues of the base game and provides a much more creative and interesting campaign. There is even a level where you have to use non lethal force to avoid killing anyone, not something you see often in an rts.
This is one of the best one so it should be higher
Love it, wish there were an updated version of this exact same game
The best game ever made! EVERYBODY was playing this in the 90'ies, we used to talk all breaks in school about our progression and all that things. It was so awesome, particularly as it had the skirmish option that C&C lacked!
Possibly the game I've spent the most amount of time on EVER. Almost perfection for me. Only negatives are how the AI will not build certain units/buildings (Superweapons, Naval Units etc). And the addition of aircraft carriers would have been amazing but hey ho...
My first real game addiction started when I was 10 years of age and this Gem of a game showed up!
I played red alert 3 and I think it is the c&c best game. But I just got red alert 3 uprising and I think it is even more better because it has new units that are really epic. My favourite units are the giga fortress, harbinger gunship, the grinder and reaper.
I like the game I think its pretty decent
This game was fun, but no base building made it into a forgettable and un-addictive experience, it's singleplayer was fun but it's multiplayer is an insult to the Tiberium saga... - thexfiles123
I was extremely disappointed when I bought this game and realized there was no base building. I wasn't fan of the crawler...
Worst Game ever
This game is pretty old and isn't Great but gameplay wise is decent.
This is a good game but I couldn't find my favourite version 1.07 tiberium dawn
I began playing C&C with Generals and proceeded with Kane's Wrath which were both very good games! now they released this mobile title and I can only say, that you are not gonna be disappointed! Even people who "pay 2 Win" can be beaten if you try hard enough and it offers you many different ways to play! I just wanna get Rivals over Renegade which is a horrible game!
A modern re-imagining of C&C Renegade. Some of the best team based multiplayer I have seen.
The good cnc
Missile subs made this so much better than RA
