Top 10 Best Computer Companies

The best computer brands are the ones that get it right for you. Do you love the stylish dependability of a sleek, premium machine? Awesome, there's a company for you. Need a blazing-fast gaming rig that makes other setups look prehistoric? That's a different specialist entirely. Maybe you're after an affordable, does-it-all workhorse for everyday family use - there are masters of that too.

The tech world is packed with companies building computers, from laptops to desktops and everything in between. Some are giants who've been in the game since the early days, while others are newer players bringing fresh ideas to the table. They all have reputations based on factors like performance, reliability, innovation, and even their level of customer support.
The Top Ten
1 Apple Apple Inc., headquartered in Cupertino, California, is renowned for its innovative consumer electronics, software, and services, including the iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers. The company, founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, has played a pivotal role in the technology revolution with its commitment to high-quality design and user-friendly interfaces.

The future lost its leader a couple of years ago. Apple has been pushing mankind forward from the ditch to the sea of knowledge, and it still does so without its captain at the helm.

We need someone as innovative as Steve Jobs was to surpass the current competitors and to take us forward into the depths of "possible" impossible fantasies.

Apple computers are slick and speedy. They always look new because they are made of high-grade aluminum and glass. I know Apple computers and other products are expensive, but come on, you really do get what you pay for. That's why they are better than any Windows machine.

2 Lenovo Lenovo Group Limited is a Chinese multinational technology company with headquarters in Beijing and Morrisville, North Carolina. Founded in 1984, Lenovo has grown to become the world's largest PC vendor by unit sales, offering an extensive product lineup that includes smartphones, tablets, laptops, and enterprise servers.

I have a Lenovo computer. It still works great and is five years old. It does everything fast and has good support services. It is built well, and the parts are of quality.

When it's time to get a new one, I will look hard at theirs. Their prices are good, and their selection is impressive. I have owned an HP, and they are faster and offer more services.

Apple is way overpriced for what you get. Lenovo offers incredible quality but doesn't completely screw you over on cost because you're buying a device with a piece of fruit on it.

3 Microsoft Microsoft Corporation, established by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1975, stands as a dominant force in the global technology sector, offering a wide array of software products, services, and devices. With its headquarters in Redmond, Washington, Microsoft is best known for its Windows operating systems, Office productivity suite, and more recently, its cloud computing services with Azure.

Microsoft is the best. We have been hearing about Bill Gates for years. Why? He was the man who founded the modern computer. He made computers that are far better than those from other companies.

Probably one of the only reasons why Apple is on top is that Steve Jobs has died. I never heard of Steve Jobs until he died, which is depressing. When I was younger, any Apple product cost a fortune. Now it is cheaper, but that does not mean that it is better than Microsoft. The only reason I own an iPod is that I found it on the ground one day.

Microsoft is a reliable product that, unlike other computer companies that aren't Apple, lets you install your own parts into the computer. If we are talking about the best cell phone, I see a reason why Apple should be on top. But this is a poll on computers. A real computer company should be number one.

4 Hewlett-Packard Hewlett-Packard, commonly referred to as HP, originated in a one-car garage in Palo Alto, making it part of the Silicon Valley startup folklore. Established in 1939 by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, HP has grown into a global leader in computing, printing, and imaging solutions, catering to both consumer and enterprise segments with a wide range of products and services.

Out of all the computers I have owned or used, I have to say that HP is the best. It is very fast and has a decent price tag. I just bought mine a couple of weeks ago, and it cost under $300.

I had a Lenovo a few years ago and couldn't figure out how to maneuver my way through it. It also seemed to crash a lot. I'm shocked to see Apple is number one, but I believe it. Not only are they good, but they are also the oldest company out there.

My dad got me a brand-new HP laptop when I was still in high school a few years back, and I didn't really expect it to last. But to this day, it still runs great, doing everything I need it to do and more. Sadly, I think it's possibly better than my current desktop computer.

5 Dell Dell Technologies is a multinational computer technology company that specializes in developing, selling, servicing, and supporting computers and related products and services. Founded by Michael Dell in 1984 while he was a student at the University of Texas at Austin, Dell has become one of the largest technology corporations in the world, known for its direct-sales model and build-to-order manufacturing approach.

Apple has too much software and doesn't allow for independent choice in upgrades. When I try to change the password on one device, it doesn't make it easy to sync with another device or even the computer.

Dell is willing to replace your computer if you have trouble. This has only happened to me once. All my Dell computers have served me well. I also prefer to update my own antivirus software.

I have a Dell computer for school, and it's amazing. I've never had an issue with mine, and it's very durable. I've dropped it a few times, and it's always been okay. No glitches, broken keys, cracked screens, and definitely no bugs. It's also really fast to work with. I recommend a Dell computer. 10/10!

6 Intel Intel Corporation, headquartered in Santa Clara, California, is a multinational corporation and technology company. It was founded in 1968 by Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore and quickly became known for its semiconductor and chip manufacturing, including the development of the microprocessors found in most personal computers worldwide.

Intel is simply the best because, pretty much, without Intel, all computers would stop. Intel creates some of the most important and high-quality parts of computers.

Best CPUs! I have handled them improperly. I would leave them out of anti-static bags, and I have never killed any of them. Intel is very highly recommended!

Makes most of the hardware behind the rest of these companies!

7 Asus AsusTek Computer Inc., more commonly known as Asus, is a Taiwanese multinational computer, phone hardware, and electronics company headquartered in Taipei. Founded in 1989, Asus has made a name for itself as a leading manufacturer of motherboards, gaming laptops, desktops, and peripherals, as well as smartphones under the ZenFone series.

It's really great for high-end products: best graphics cards, motherboards, and amazing screens. Laptops are built very well, and desktops are just the same. Very easy to use. Great quality control.

The only downside is that Asus has one of the worst tech supports I have ever used.

I have an Asus computer (Aspire) with 256 gigabytes, and I love it! I can play many games on it, but my only issue is the storage problem. It only has 256 gigabytes, so I run out of storage quickly.

However, the computer is reliable, friendly, fast, easy, and overall the best non-gaming computer I have ever had. (I also own a Predator, but I assume this is for casual computers.)

8 Sony Sony Corporation, with its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, is a diversified global conglomerate with a vast footprint in the electronics, entertainment, and gaming sectors. Founded in 1946 by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita, Sony has established itself as a leading manufacturer of consumer electronics, notably the PlayStation gaming consoles, and has significantly influenced music, movies, and video game industries.

The Sony computer I have has been the best computer I have ever owned! Fast, light, and has never given me any problems.

I have only owned two laptops in my life. The first lasted five years, and my second one is on its sixth year and still going strong.

They make good quality laptops!

9 Samsung Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., based in Suwon, South Korea, is a global leader in technology advancing through innovation. Founded in 1969, Samsung has become a major manufacturer of electronic components such as lithium-ion batteries, semiconductors, image sensors, and displays, as well as consumer electronics and digital media devices.

Samsung is amazing. They always keep up to date and never go out of style. The new Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge would blow away the Apple iPhone 6 in seconds.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 8.9 that's about four years old now, and it still works fine. No matter how many times I accidentally drop it, it still works. There has definitely been competition between Samsung and Apple, but Samsung is and always will be better.

I really don't know if they make good computers, but I think they make better technology than Apple because Samsung chips are actually in Apple products to make the phones better. True.

10 Acer Acer Inc. is a Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics corporation specializing in advanced electronics technology, headquartered in Xizhi, New Taipei City. Established in 1976 by Stan Shih, Acer has grown into one of the world's top computer companies, known for its laptops, desktops, monitors, and gaming hardware.

I use my Acer Aspire for gaming. I plan to replace the silver/black casing with a pretty-in-pink casing in the near future, so I can fit in with the pretty girls most of the time.

I own an Acer Aspire, and it's one of the best computers I've owned. When I bought it, it had Windows 8.1, but then I upgraded to Windows 10. It works great! I can't say enough good things about Acer.

Acer definitely should be number one. I own a Windows 10 computer that was manufactured by Acer, with the keyboard manufactured by Dell.

11 Razer Razer Inc. is an American-Singaporean multinational technology company founded in 2005 by Min-Liang Tan and Robert Krakoff. The company specializes in products marketed specifically to gamers, including gaming laptops, peripherals like mice, keyboards, and headsets, as well as software services. Razer is known for its focus on innovation and quality in the competitive gaming industry.

Expensive: "You get what you pay for!" Top quality, robust, fast, sleek design, and all-around solid!

Cheaper than Apple but way more powerful!

Great for gaming and fast-paced people, but also good for everyday use. All around a good product.

12 Alienware Alienware, a subsidiary of Dell since 2006, is based in Miami and specializes in high-performance gaming hardware, software, and accessories. Founded in 1996 by Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila, Alienware's products are known for their distinctive, out-of-this-world designs and powerful specifications tailored to meet the demands of avid gamers.

Wait, aren't Dell and Alienware the same? Oh, whatever. Great custom building for gaming, best hardware. Just the price is too high.

If I had to buy a computer, it would most definitely be Alienware.

I have an Alienware setup because I do YouTube. If you have enough money, I definitely recommend this system for gaming.

13 Panasonic Panasonic Corporation, formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., is a major Japanese multinational electronics company headquartered in Kadoma, Osaka. Founded in 1918 by Kōnosuke Matsushita, Panasonic has grown to become one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronics and electrical products ranging from consumer electronics to renewable energy solutions.

The company has diversified interests across multiple industries, including consumer and industrial electronics, power, energy, and information technology, offering products from laptops to nuclear reactors.

I currently own a Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200. Overall, I'm very happy with the computer and have owned it for three years. It is still a fast and reliable computer.

The only problem I've ever had is with the sound. Sometimes the sound won't work at all, or it will be stuck on the loudest setting no matter how low I adjust it. That happens on a rare occasion. Other than this, the computer is very dependable.

I have a brand-new Toshiba running Windows 8.1, and I love it. That's hard coming from a die-hard Mac user.

I have a Toshiba that I've used for a few years. I am pleased with it. It is an affordable and manageable computer.

Since its inception in 1999, iBuyPower has specialized in providing gamers with high-performance, customized gaming rigs tailored to their specific needs and preferences, incorporating the latest technology and components.

Does no one know of these people? They are amazing. Custom computers at decent prices that run amazingly! Do some research before just voting on brand names like Dell and, whoops, I mean Apple.

IBuyPower is where most of my equipment comes from, preparing me for a full experience of gaming.

16 LG LG Electronics Inc., part of the South Korean LG Group, operates from Seoul, South Korea, and is a key player in the global consumer electronics and home appliances market. Established in 1958 as GoldStar, LG has evolved into a leading manufacturer of televisions, mobile devices, air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators, emphasizing innovation and smart technology.

The haunting computer external hard disk drives and monitors are too mesmerizing. This is the best of LG.

17 IBM International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), headquartered in Armonk, New York, is an American multinational technology company that has been a pioneer in the computing industry since its foundation in 1911. IBM is renowned for its contributions to hardware, software, and middle-ware, including the development of the floppy disk, the hard disk drive, and more recently, quantum computing and artificial intelligence technologies.

Along with being around for over 100 years, IBM has produced more computing innovations than any other company in the field today. Without IBM, we would have no Social Security, no moon landing. They also promoted civil rights by signing an equality hiring procedure ten years before the United States Government instituted the famous law.

This company changed the world, and Apple, Microsoft, and any other prominent companies would be much farther behind if it weren't for this beautifully ethical, innovative American company.

18 MSI Micro-Star International Co., Ltd (MSI), based in New Taipei City, Taiwan, is a leader in gaming and professional computing hardware. Founded in 1986, MSI has made a significant impact on the gaming industry with its high-performance gaming laptops, desktops, motherboards, graphic cards, and peripherals, emphasizing cutting-edge technology and design.

Using military-grade components means that heat is no longer produced by the motherboard or any small part of the hardware, except for the CPU and GPU, which, let's face it, will always produce heat. That said, the CPU and GPU have internal temperature control, which internally regulates their performance output.

This is critical for laptops since they are packed tightly in a very small space. You might as well call it an oven. Therefore, having few to no components to influence the CPU and GPU, along with good cooling, equals 100% performance from your computer. Additionally, military components will convert your dirty power into clean power, giving your computer a longer life. Heat is the number one enemy of computers. MSI is my friend.

19 HCL HCL Technologies Limited, an Indian multinational information technology (IT) service and consulting company headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was founded in 1976. Initially a research and development division of HCL Enterprise, it became an independent company in 1991 and now provides software, IT infrastructure, and digital services to clients worldwide.

I use this company's laptop, which is cheap, amazing, and fast.

I am using an HCL computer because it's nice and super fast.

Nvidia should be way above MSI.
