I truly think the United Kingdom is and was the best country, the world has ever seen. Not only are we one of the richest, yet we are patriotic and proud of our country not to mention the fact we were a major player in the defeat of the 2 catastrophic world wars. Furthermore, no country ANYWHERE has such a famous and much-loved Monarchy. Its something for us to be proud of and for others to envy.
We ruled over a 1/3 of the worlds population! This small island off the coast of France was and still is very feared. Our armed forces are some of the best in the world, despite it not being the largest. Technologicaly advanced to such a significant level!
Also, despite 21st century expectations we have stilled maintained a large amount of overseas territories. Gibraltor, The Falklands. you name it our flags on it!
We celebrate and embrace our countries multicultuarism, and over 65 million people are PROUD and HAPPY to call this fantastic, majestic, nation home!

Incomprehensibly large economy, navy, and population. Countless Imperial territories. London is the financial capital of the world at this time. A relatively small but professional army, hardened with experiences from the Boer War. Immense control over global politics and communications that would become vital in defeating Germany and Austro-Hungary in the coming years.

At the Turn of the 20th Century, the British Empire was nearing its peak, with colonies stretching from Canada to India, the UK was a superpower in 1900. With the Victorian Era coming to a close in Britain, the UK was still at the forefront of technology and science. It was the go to nation for Science, Tech, and many other categories.

With a killer empire legacy behind them, the UK can still punch above their weight, with the 2nd largest economy in Europe and international influence, as of today the United Kingdom is still a powerhouse.

The United Kingdom is one of the greatest countries in the world; it prides itself on it's military and it's huge influence inside the United Nations and it's former trade market group, the European Union. Germany is obviously the most powerful country in 1900. Although its size makes it smaller than US, India, and Russia, Germany held down, although being vastly outnumbered by enemies in numerous fronts. Then, in the 1930's, they formed the Nazi Regime, which is worse but more powerful. The Germans conquered Poland twice and booted Russia and the Soviet Union back to their stronger areas. They already got United Kingdom near bankruptcy during WW2, beat against that small island, and started attacking US naval ships and other Eurasian rivals. The mighty Germans showed that size does not always matter (Like they took down the world's largest nation: Russia).

Germany was a lesser powerful country entering the twentieth century, but however, it exceeded the British Empire in strength, rather than size. In World War One, Germany was outnumbered and outflanked, but it stood firm. The only reason it was 'defeated', and this is a fact: Germany surrendered because it thought peace was available through Wilson's Fourteen Points. When Germany was the Prussian Empire, they took down Poland. When Germany became the later Nazi Regime in World War Two, it had been outflanked by the Allied Countries, and itself and Japan, but Japan was too far away. Nazi Germany held out and was crushing the Soviet Union, and was developing advanced technology, such as the missile, and the atomic weapon. But however, USA got to it first since Einstein went to it and crushed Japan. Germany still shows it should never be underestimated through these two wars,
